"would this be useful?" Lilian held her hands out, allowing a diamond to form in the shape of a rose. She questioned the legality of just making gems for profit. However out of all the crimes she had committed, this was arguably victimless so she didn't mind.

Paperwork was her least favourite aspect of being guildmaster, yet it was a necessary evil. Money coming in, and money going out…it was part of her job to track such things and make sure they could afford everything they needed to. She had simply commented that they needed more money if they wanted to renovate the kitchen properly, she hadn’t intended to make anyone feel as if they should step up themselves (but perhaps her words had been on a rather heavy sigh).

Lilian’s question drew her gaze over to her, eyes soon going wide at the creation of the gem. Much like the diamond itself, glittering in the light, Frankie seemed to sparkle as she jumped up from her makeshift seat and hurried to the other woman’s side.

“Wow! Wow, Lilian! That’s so pretty!” she couldn’t help but coo in awe, hands held tight to her chest to contain her energy, even as she leaned closer. While she had seen Lilian’s magic several times before now, it would never fail to impress her and… “Is this a new form you’ve learnt? It’s incredible! You’re amazing!”

Caught up in admiring the work, it took her a long moment to register what had been meant originally. Huh. Gems such as this one really would fetch a good price…For an instant, she imagined the guildhall in renewed condition, not a patch of chipped paint or broken wood in sight.

She shook herself and smiled, carefully taking the rose from Lilian as if it was made of glass instead of diamond. Frankie knew exactly what to do with it. She crossed the room and set it gently on the one intact shelf they had on the wall, then stepped back with her hands on her hips. Proud grin on her lips, she looked back at her guildmate.

“I think we should keep it right there, don’t you think? It’s so pretty, we can all enjoy it from here and I know I’ll be even more motivated every time I look at it, because you’ve worked hard and made something new, and we need to make this place good enough to hold such a beautiful thing. It’s definitely useful, thanks, Lilian!”
