Poking her head up from her blanket fort that she had constructed by herself with all her blankets, pillows, and even her sheets from her bed when she heard her bedroom door in the bunker open, Alex puffed out her cheeks a bit when she saw her father standing at her door.

"No boys allowed!" she spoke, trying to look as serious as possible, though it was hard with the look on her father's face. "Super secret hunter stuff is going on."

Looking up at her father he spoke, his words comforting the young girl. Alex knew that she was different from the other kids at school, but she didn't like being different. Not this kind of different at least. She knew what she was and she couldn't control it and it just made her mad at the other kids and caused her to lash out most of the time, which led to her father being called to the school multiple days a week.

"The kids at school call me a freak, though," she mumbled and looked down at the floor, her dirty blonde hair falling in her face, covering her eyes. "I don't like going to school anymore. I don't want to go anymore. I just wanna stay home with you, Daddy." Being half-demon was hard on the little girl and her daddy knew it, too. There were so many emotions coursing through her every time she got mad and it didn't help her case.
