1. what does your muse smell like?

when she worked at LPH, fried food. since then, she tends to smell most like citrus-scented shampoo and bodywash, as well as weed if she’s been smoking recently.

2. what does your muse’s hands feel like?

soft! she has a few burn scars from working in food service, but her palms are very very soft. also she moisturizes obsessively so they may be various degrees of damp lol

3. what does your muse usually eat in a day?  

her favorite food used to be gluten-free fried chicken from LPH- since the restaurant was shut down she hasn’t really found a suitable replacement that a., tastes good, b., won’t fuck up her poor celiac-diseased small intestine, and c., is sourced from sustainable, local, free-range farms. she’s also a fan of frybread, especially when used for Navajo tacos, which she makes herself for special occasions using cornmeal. but aside from that, her diet mainly consists of snack foods- potato and corn chips, rice krispies treats, candy, etc. in terms of drinks she likes soda, iced tea, and lemonade, but she doesn’t drink coffee (iced or otherwise) or hot drinks.

4. does your muse have a good singing voice?  

yes! she sounds like a disney princess

5. does your muse have any bad habits or nervous ticks?  

she plays with her hair a lot and uses filler words (especially “like”), particularly when she’s nervous or thinking hard about something. she swears a fair amount, but not more than the average teenager? her worst habits are probably interrupting others, speaking impulsively, and generally just being slightly but harmlessly irritating

6. what does your muse usually look like/wear?  

LOTS of makeup, always at least concealer, foundation, eyeliner, and lip gloss. she has a pretty varied wardrobe, although for everyday wear she prefers hoodies, t-shirts, jeans, leggings, and other comfy clothes. she does often wear shoes with high-heels if she’s not planning on running around too much, because she’s 4′11″ and doesn’t like being below everyone else’s shoulders

7. is your muse affectionate? how much? how so?

EXTREMELY. laney will hug strangers if they’re up for it. being her friend entails infinite cuddles and cheek kisses

8. what position does your muse sleep in?  

it depends on the season- in winter, she curls up in the fetal position on her side with a whole bunch of blankets, while during the summer, she’s a total starfish sleeper.

9. could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room?  

unless the walls are soundproofed and also you’re hard of hearing, absolutely.

Until the age of eleven Laney’s life was relatively peaceful (save for an incident at age nine where she was thrown off her uncle’s horse, fracturing three ribs); then, her mother disappeared, never to be seen again. With her father initially being suspected, his wife’s tight-knit family suddenly turned on him out of fear and suspicion; after his name was cleared, he moved along with his daughter to Albuquerque. Since then Laney has seen scarce little of her mother’s side of the family (or of her father’s, who live just south of the Mexican border)- that is, until a chance encounter during her shift at Los Pollos Hermanos brought her back in touch with Victor.
