SHE'S TOO GOOD TO HAVE TO put up with this shit — at least that's the lie she keeps telling herself. a laugh leaves her — bitter, angry, even when she's trying to bite it back. there are so many things she can say, but she can't bring herself to do it. it would open an entirely new can of worms that none of them are ready to deal with. « then kick me out, » she challenges him even as he walks away. « i know you're just dying to. » and she knows he won't.

THEY CAN CONTINUE DOING THIS ALL TOUR. they probably will and the results will always be the same — hours of headaches and new grudges held. still, freya can't seem to stop when it comes to him. « yeah, no shit, » she spits, can't let him have the last word. « that's why we're here, isn't it ? to warm up for belby. none of us are fucking special, chris. i'll get over it. » she gets up from her seat, trudging straight past him towards the door. « i suggest you do the same. »

The most infuriating part? Even if Christian did push to get Freya kicked out, the band would never go for it. His fury came out evenly, and everything that came next happened smoothly -- the turn of his heel, the icy but level glare in Freya's direction. "You want out of the band so fucking bad? Then leave, Freya," he challenged her back. "We had a singer before you, and we can find a singer after you. You're not fucking special."
