“what  do  i  want  for  my  birthday?”  the  actress  thought  for  a  moment,  “i  don't  know…  maybe  a  cheese  basket  or  a  cow.”

of  course  the  phones  would  be  bugged.  they  could  track  anything.  she  would  have  to  physically  see  her  dad  in  person,  but  she  had  no  idea  where  he  is  and  hasn't  seen  him  for  awhile.  plus..  it  would  make  things  worse.  only  the  two  of  them  are  aware  that  she  now  knows  the  truth  and  it  will  stay  that  way.  the  dangers  only  growing  and  sonny  tried  not  to  panic.  who  knows  how  long  this  is  going  to  last?

the  moment  dom  spoke  about  risking  his  life  for  her,  she  immediately  shook  her  head  as  she  stood  back  up  and  walked  towards  him.  “you  will  do  no  such  thing!  i  will  not  let  you  die  for  me,  ever.  i  can't-  i  won't  let  you  die.”  there  was  panic  in  her  eyes  as  she  looked  up  at  him.  shaking  her  head  profusely.  “you're  going  to  stay  alive  with  me,  alright?!”

⸻ "this isn't something you should do on the phone. believe me," dominic mumbled, exhaling heavily. he hated that he had to be the one to drop this bomb on her like this. wish it had been sonny's father to do it. but he guessed in some way it was better this way. if it had come from her father, he didn't know how it would have resulted. "when someone's desperate for revenge, they don't think fully. we thought this whole thing would be done by now, but . . . " he trailed off, shaking his head. dominic was pretty sure this was the longest take down in the history of the vipers. it was a blessing and a curse because it gave him all this time with sonny but it still had her in danger. "i would risk my life every damn day for you, sunbeam. alright? this isn't a job for me anymore. i'm doing this because i care about you."

birthday  or  not,  seemed  like  everyone  still  needed  her  to  do  something.  which  of  course  she  didn't  mind.  she  thrived  in  helping  others.  the  exhaustion  just  seemed  to  be  hitting  extra  hard  today.  “yeah,  okay,  i'll  be  there.”  hanging  up  the  phone,  she  let  out  a  breath  and  gave  herself  a  little  pep  talk,  “okay,  birthday  girl.  you  love  helping  others.  it's  going  to  be  okay.”

normally  sonny  didn't  have  nightmares.  if  anything,  if  she  was  extremely  exhausted  she  would  sleep  walk  and  destroy  things.  however,  this  wasn't  the  case.  her  nightmare  filled  with  the  faces  of  people  that  she  loved  betraying  her.  leaving  her  for  the  worst.  it  was  enough  to  cause  her  to  wake  up  gasping.  feeling  the  tears  spill  from  her  cheeks  as  her  gaze  scanned  the  area.  realizing  she  has  fallen  asleep  in  the  prop  house.  at  the  same  time,  nate  wandered  in  and  almost  immediately  came  to  comfort  her.  in  which  she  sniffled  and  pulled  her  usual  excuse,  “i'm  fine..  i'm  okay.”

“can  you  all  please  just  quit  with  the  group  mumbling!”  sonny  waved  her  hand  at  her  costars  as  they  stood  amongst  the  sonny  scheduling  board.  all  of  them  clearly  distressed  on  who  she  has  to  help  first.  “we  can  worry  about  this  board  later!  there's  a  band  coming  to  perform  and  you  guys  need  to  be  on  your  best  behavior!”  as  if  on  cue,  nico  and  grady  flung  their  sandwich.  who  knows  how  or  why,  but  it  happened.  sonny  immediately  ducking  only  for  it  to  hit  one  of  the  band  members  in  the  face  as  they  entered.  eyes  widening,  she  quickly  turned  and  attempted  to  wipe  off  the  pickles  from  his  face,  “oh  my  god,  i  am  so  sorry!  they  just  had  uh-  sandwich  malfunction.”

“remember  the  farm  you  got  me  for  my  birthday?”  sonny  questioned  as  she  rocked  back  and  forth  on  her  feet,  “i  turned  it  into  a  winter  wonderland  and  the  animals  love  it!”

listening  to  brandy,  sonny  kept  the  smile  on  her  face.  unlike  many,  sonny  always  spent  a  lot  of  time  trying  to  get  to  know  every  single  person  she  works  with.  that  includes  the  crew  on  set.  so  she  was  touched  the  other  wanted  to  hang  out  with  her  for  her  birthday.  “that's  really  sweet.”  she  hummed  as  she  glanced  at  the  time,  “tell  you  what.  i  do  have  to  run  on  set  for  a  quick  rehearsal,  but  after  let's  definitely  grab  some  birthday  milkshakes!”

Brandy was still blushing, not as brightly but it was still there. "I'm sure you've got a lot planned and a lot of people who want to hang out with you today but," she paused but pushed passed her nerves. "If you want to hang out, get away from all of it for a second, we could go get something to eat or milkshakes or, whatever. Today or any other day." Smooth. "You've got a hard job and you're some how responsible for a lot of people. That's intense and I understand that, so, I'm here if you just need to talk or vent or whatever." Of course she'd listen, it was impossible not to listen to Sonny.

“are  you  ready  to  go?”  sonny  questioned  with  a  big  smile  on  her  face  as  she  stood  in  front  of  the  other  in  her  rather  large  inflatable  cow  costume.

sonny  understood  where  celeste  was  coming  from.  she  too  had  her  own  writers  block  from  time  to  time.  even  when  breaks  would  happen,  it  still  wouldn't  come  back.  “you  know  what  i  think  you  need?”  the  actress  offered  a  smile,  “maybe  a  new  scenery.  how  about  we  go  to  malibu  and  people  watch?  maybe  you'll  be  inspired  then?”

⸻ celeste would never forgive chad for how he screwed things up with sonny. could never get over the fact that chad had really lost the girl over something so royally dumb. something her dumbass brother caused. so regardless of it all . . . celeste remained like a little sister to sonny. kept around her still because she still adored the actress anyways. "i've tried everything it feels like," she sighed, tossing her laptop gently to her side. her head hurt too much from thinking. "maybe i'm just being too hard on myself? but it just feels like . . . no matter how many breaks i take, their voices don't come back to me."

“it's  nothing,  i'm  okay.”  sonny  tried  to  reassure  the  other  watching  as  he  seemed  angry  at  the  fact  that  something  has  harmed  her.  attempting  to  hide  her  bleeding  arm  but  failing  miserably  at  it.  it  was  embarrassing  to  say  the  least  as  she  mumbled  quietly,  “i  got  ran  over  by  a  golf  cart  at  the  studio….”
