If you had the choice to fancast actors for an actually decent series of silent hill movies faithful to the games - who would you cast for each role and why?

Oh, boy, okay. So  I think the movies had a few good casting choices. Like, three. But other than that, if I had my choices of actors, living or dead, regardless of real-life scandals, this would be them. (This is also probably going to reveal that I’ve watched maybe five shows in their entirety). 

SH1: 

Gregory Peck as Harry

Cybil as Laurie Holden was great. Keep that.

Cheyenne Jackson as Kaufmann

Isla Fisher as Lisa

Jessica Lange as Dahlia

SH2: 

Matt Damon as James

Rosamund Pike as Mary and Maria

Anne Hathaway as Angela

Chris Farley as Eddie

SH3: 

Adelaide Clemens as Heather as was fine, I guess. I’ve met cosplayers who would be better though. 

Alec Baldwin as Douglas

Tom Hiddleston as Vincent

Tilda Swinton as Claudia (this woman looks like she was genetically engineered to play Claudia and they MISSED IT)

SH4: 

Tom Cruise as Henry (as done in this aesthetic.)

Emma Stone as Eileen

Leonor Varela as Cynthia

Evan Peters as Jasper, but he has to actually try 

Guillermo del Toro as Andrew De Salvo (he did motion capture for Kojima; he can do this)

Kevin Spacey as Richard Braintree

Kurt Cobain as Walter (I know he didn’t act, but they look too similar for me to pass it up and I used it in the aesthetic above as well)

SHO: 

Wes Bentley as Travis

Keep the casting from SH1 for everyone else

SHH: 

Finn Wittrock as Alex

Finn Wolfhard as Joshua

Portia de Rossi as Elle

SHD: 

Owen Wilson as Murphy

Will Arnett as Sewell

Kristin Stewart as Anne

Monsters are played by the people they got for the movies, Doug Jones,  Andre the Giant, and Dwayne Johnson.

30 to 40? c:

30. Crystal Flight! Although I consider it one of the harder speedways, the track is great and the aesthetic is A+

31. They aren’t as creative as some of the ones from Spyro the Dragon ;)

32. Honestly I would want another game exactly like the first Spyro but new worlds and levels. Controls stay the same, no NPC characters just more of the relaxing atmospheres and new music from Stewart Copeland :)

33. No, I have tried to mess with the jump triangle get to where you’re not supposed to glitch but I suck at it.

34. Yes I’ve seen a few speedruns but I prefer LPs. My favorite is Let’s Play and Break.

35. I do try to play each one at least once a year.

36. It’s been a while :( The last one I played was Spyro the Dragon about a year ago.

37. I try not to hate on the Skylanders series. I just wish they wouldn’t have used the name Spyro.

38. Haha they are blue! Although in games 2 and 3 I can see why some would say purple.

39. I think Sheila’s controls function the best, but my favorite personality is Bentley c:

40. I think it’s Beast Makers, somehow I find it relaxing haha. Magic Crafters is a close second.
