"You could say the Enigmata and Mythus acknowledging me was my way of escapism.. Because I personally felt robbed with how I couldn't remember.. anything good."

Elinoir's eyes widened at the sight, somewhat horrified. Not because she was scared but.. because she felt sorry for what happened to Simon.

"I'm sorry that happened.." Was the only thing she said, not knowing what else to say other than that. She's not good at comforting people.

"No one, not even the Aeons themselves should laugh at it. All of us have been through something, and our stories aren't to be made fun of." She spoke firmly, looking at the ground. "They don't have the right to.."

The woman paused for a while before talking again. "I heard that trauma affects the memory of someone, depending on how severe it is and on how the brain responds to the trauma in relevance to their memories." She stated before letting out a soft sigh. "Unfortunately for me, I only know little of my childhood, specially the happy moments.."

Elinoir blinks at the question, thinking deeply about it. As she remembers, she couldn't help but sigh a little. "Let me say.. It's a long story, but the best I could tell is that I was a bitter teenager back then. Surely we all were at some point?" The woman laughed.

"I wanted recognition and a bit of validation for a long time.. And I ended up doing, uh- something.." Her voice had a hint of melancholy, which soon turned into a smile filled with joy. "But THEY gave that to me."

"Mythus THEMSELVES gazed upon me. That's when I decided to follow the Enigmata. Hopefully I get to meet their gaze on last time." The RIddler smiles, the memory bringer her joy. "May seem too much, but I do wish to be their Enamator one day." She laughed.

"So? What about you? What made you become a follower of the Enigmata? A Mask Fool?"
