*[As an hour or two passes by, the house stayed relatively throughout the morning quiet before something- or someone, rather- starts thundering on your front door.]

*[You know who it is... Maybe]

"Well ain't you a curious little thing?"

*[Shoutmon grinned, squatting down to Gammamon's eye level then pat him on the head.]

Gammamon looks up at shoutmon

"Who are you? :0 valentine told me not to talk to weirdos"

"The original, huh? Well isn't that just flattering."

*[Shoutmon smirked lightly.]

"Y'know, i never really thought that i'd come across another me- err... Shoutmon i mean."

"Hm, didn't think there would be another Shoutmon besides me."

"So you must be the original shoutmon that everyone has been telling me about. "

Shoutmon stared at the Cherubimon and their offer for a good few seconds, before deciding to push themselves off the ground.

"No, s'okay. Im fine-"

The dragon groaned in reply as he reached for his- otherwise unscathed- mask that came loose during his fall and grabbed onto the giant rabbit's hand to hoist himself off the ground.

"But, thanks for the offer, either way!"

Upon coming out of the rift he came with, which is apparently an inch or two high off of the ground, Shoutmon proceeds to lose their balance....

And tripped face first onto the Garden's grounds... What an entrance huh?

“I hope you’re not hurt, I know portals are rough on little digimon. Do you need a hug? A heal?”

After briefly giving eachother a look, any semblance of the other Shoutmon's previous casualness dissipates into the air like steam.

"Salutations, esteemed Duchess and her loyal guardian. I am Shoutmon, the benevolent ruler and King of the Digital World."

They step forward before bowing down in the most regal, practiced manner you've ever seen.

"And this is my most trusted general, who also happen to be my brother in arm."

Shoutmon then gestures to the masked boy, who only nods as his expression morphs into something more akin to amusement, not following suit with any of the grand introduction his partner has set up.

"And we are here because..."

Instead of receiving an answer, you watch as the dragon open his mouth before closing it again, then immediately turning back to their partner and stage whispers;

"Taiki, what were we invited here for again?"

The boy, now known as Taiki, chuckles in reply before shrugging.

"Oh hey! Didn't know there's another one of me attendin' here!"

The dragon digimon approached with a grin, trailing not too far behind them was a boy, who then added;

"Or any other humans, as far as i know."

"𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗸𝗶, 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸! 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗵 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗺𝗼𝗻!" "And another human... seems we're not the only tamer/digi combo here. Nice to meet you both!" Akirah did a curtsy. "I'm-" "𝗗𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗸𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜'𝗺 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗺𝗼𝗻!" The digimon boldly interrupted.

"Shoutmon? Stop kidding around." Akirah nervously giggled mid-speech.

"𝗪𝗵𝗼'𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻'? 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜. 𝙒𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙢 𝙛𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚!" Shoutmon whispered the other part to Akirah, wanting to make sure they blended in. "…𝘈𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵… 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘐'𝘮 𝘯𝘰 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦."

The two looked back up at the other pair.

"𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆, 𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲��𝘀-𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗳𝗳. 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝘄𝗼'𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹. 𝗛𝗼𝘄'𝗱 𝘆𝗮 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴?" Shoutmon asked, leaning against a nearby wall. Meanwhile, poor Akirah was already looking pale and nervous.

"Then you've gotta be one hell of a rare regional Charmander lookin' like that!"

*[The "Victini" chuckles lightly.]

*[Upon hearing Tai's question, Shoutmon paused for a moment before saying;]

"Well, i ain't a Charmeleon for sure, but i am a Shoutmon."

*[A... Victini...? Or a Victini if it were a dragon type looked at you from head to toe, then cocked their head to the side with an amused grin.]

"A Charmander, huh?"

"Yeah! I'm a Charmander! Although I look very weird, I consider myself as a regional variant!"

Tai looks at you, and wondered about something.

"Are you some kind of regional Charmeleon? Because you sorta look like one."

Taiki blinked once, twice then thrice before going.

"Is this... Not the Digital World?"

In all honesty, the fact he can't hear anything else but Shoutmon's digimelody here should have set something off that neither was this the Digital World nor is Ultraviolet was not a digimon— but oh well.

@distortionmewtwo The Mewtwo shyly approached the two, anxiously wringing his hands together, but his smile was warm. "H-Hello there," he said softly. "I-I, erm.. I don't think I've ever met anyone quite like you before..." In all honesty, the presence of what may have been a human, UV wasn't sure, made him quite uncomfortable, but he wanted to make an effort to be polite for the event. It wouldn't do to be rude. "M-My name is Ultraviolet, what's yours..?"

"Hello there!"

Upon noticing you, the masked boy gave you small smile and wave while you approach. He gave you a quick look up and down before going.

"And i dont think i've seen a digimon like you either?"

He wanted to ask Shoutmon for confirmation- wherever they may have ended up after going through that rift with him... But atleast he can still hear his melody from here, so he could probably find and ask them later.

For now he should introduce himself too.

"I'm Taiki, it's nice to meet you, Ultraviolet!"

*[They quickly shake it off, rubbing the back of his head. Well, they suppose it's not really wrong. He did show up out of thin air, completely unannounced.]

"Well first things first, i ain't a weirdo. And two, the names Shoutmon, the one and only Digimon King!"

*[The dragon digimon proudly proclaims, jabbing a finger to his chest for further emphasis.]

"Well ain't you a curious little thing?"

*[Shoutmon grinned, squatting down to Gammamon's eye level then pat him on the head.]

"But there might be another Digimon using and/or copying Quartzmon's abilities for... Something..."

"What it is, im not quite sure of. Though, with the amount of Digimon losing themselves in these newer DigiQuartzes... I'm worried there's something else at play."

*[He takes a sip of the tea— and promptly burns his own tongue. He's trying his best to not show it, but there's a noticable flinch that may or may not have gave him away.]

"Well ain't you a curious little thing?"

*[Shoutmon grinned, squatting down to Gammamon's eye level then pat him on the head.]
