One thing I can't stop thinking about is how Wille canonically has not consumed alcohol or any substances since when Simon had to come and rescue him from the football field scene. He didn't consumed anything in the Hillerska parties and even denied booze offered by Vincent. Like, either he swore them off after he realised that how much trouble he caused to Simon and then all the Alexander debacle, or he didn't like it anyways and he took them only because he is "supposed" to and that incident was the last straw for Wille. Either way, it's just so fascinating to me because Wille isn't even aware about Simon's trauma associated with substances because of Micke, and yet he subconsciously did the exact thing Simon was expecting Micke to do since years. Like, we all know that this boy is ready to give up his position to be with Simon, but he is also unknowingly making choices for Simon's well-being. They are just so perfect for each other.

Wilmon AU in which Wille gets so drunk during a party that he ends up crying when Simon kisses him because he's so into him but he also knows he has a boyfriend and he feels like a jerk for cheating on him with gorgeous Simon

Simon – aka Wille's boyfriend - will laugh his ass off at the absurdity of it all, but then he spends the rest of the party holding an inconsolable Wille as the blonde keeps showing him cute pics of him and his boyfriends and sobbing a "look at him, he's so pretty, you can't kiss me anymore I can't hurt him"

Cue Simon promising a drunk Wille that he will not kiss him so that he won't be cheating anymore. Wille will hug him so tight then, saying "you're wonderful, Simon, I would love be with you in another life" and passing out not too long after

Next morning, Wille vividly remembers kissing someone at the party and he nearly has a panic attack over it before Simon barges into his room to tell him the most hilarious thing that he did last night (and then getting all the kisses Wille denied him last night)

What I love about Simon

he's such a caretaker........ always there for his sister (I know, it's complicated...) and for Wille and just... that boy has a heart of gold and he's not afraid to reach out and comfort the people he loves. everyone needs a Simon on their life

his unapologetic fucking authenticity, he will simply not let himself be silenced and that's not only why Wille fell in love with him but also why I love him to bits. my guess is he's been othered all his life, not only once he started at hillerska, and yet he's out and proud and will not let anyone give him shit about it. in a fair and just world it shouldn't be, but his unapologetic existence is such a bad-ass act of revolt in itself

he's a petty, petty boy [justified (TM)]... his flavor of pettiness and jealousy is like... so fun and so very teenager and the fucking dodgeball scene and the dancing-with-Marcus-while-eyeing-Wille will never not be absolutely fucking hilarious to me

he knows what he wants and he knows (or at least learns) to draw firm boundaries. you GO for not accepting Wille lying about you and about his feelings towards you! We love a king who will not let himself be treated like shit

he is so fucking brave. so so so so fucking brave. and it's terrible that he /has/ to be, but he's such a fighter. I guess that goes with the authenticity point, but he has his principles and he will not go down without a fight

What I love about Wille

this guy loves with his entire fucking heart, his entire fucking soul. he has so so so so so much love to give and is so dedicated to Simon. sure he has to learn how to actually act on that dedication and how to actually fight for that love, but my god... his heart is so big and he wants to give it to Simon wholly and honestly

his journey? the development?? like.... the changes he went through, of course with massive help and many nudges into the richt direction from Simon but like... this 16-year-old boy matured emotionally and grew into his authentic self in such a beautiful way it makes me teary-eyed

the way he loves with all his heart he also mourns with all his heart. he's so so so in touch with his emotions and always letting them happen and really feeling them... it's so very teenager of him but I think it's also just part of his personality to be so tapped into his emotions

revenge Wille is so fucking fun omg. when he walks up to the party with his gang??? when he confronts August? mwah. dramatic and I'm here for it

he sees Simon, he sees him like no one has ever seen him before and he acknowledges him, makes him feel like he's not all alone in this stupid school. god, I hope we see more of that in S3

Random Wilmon headcanons pt. 1

A few of my, many, Wilmon headcanons for our favourite fictional couple! I will probably end up doing another post at some point.

After completing their high school education they’ll move in together either in Stockholm or Copenhagen, before going to university

Simon will probably study music, anthropology, or social studies.

Wilhelm studies either psychology or something with business.

Wilhelm did ballet as a kid and therefor he is really flexible.

Simon had long hair when he was younger, and he is seriously considering growing it back out.

Wilhelm will often, unconsciously, twirl a piece of Simons hair around his finger when they’re sat next to each other.

Simon gets nauseous easily and will get carsick within minutes.

Wilhelm suffers from almost chronic shoulder pain due to being tense with anxiety.

Simon sometimes suffers from migraines that will have him curled up in pain and throwing up. Wille will dutifully hold the puke bowl and rub his temples for him.

Wilhelm struggles with falling asleep and especially without Simon.

After getting back together for good, Simon has a hard time being away from Wille. Simon finally feels able to show all of himself, be vulnerable and share his emotions with somebody, and Wille has become his safe place.

Simon has always been Willes safe place, and now that nothing can tear them apart any longer, he makes sure to be the same for Simon.

Neither om them likes the dark, so they have a little star shaped night light plugged in every night.

Simon doesn’t feel comfortable using public restrooms and needs Wille to stand outside the door waiting for him.

Totally random thought I just had: imagine, post-s3, Simon getting Wilhelm to play games like The Sims 4 as a way of trying to get him to have an actual concept of money without any real consequences. Because you just know that Wille has never once thought about money in regard to himself (beyond “I’m aware I, as a royal, am rich”).

Additionally, imagine Wille actually getting really into it, creating himself and Simon, maybe also Felice and Sara as their neighbours in the lot next to them, maybe he gives himself and Simon a cat, maybe they have a whole family together. Plus, him telling Simon about their little sims family.

i feel like the yr fandom actively chooses to ignore/forget the fact that the forest ridge boys are not saints in the slightest. like they didn’t make fun of wille or treat him any differently after the video because ignoring it was easier than acknowledging his queerness. not because they’re allies.

wilhelm has very powerful social standing and being friends with him/on his good side means that they will be in good social standing too and their future kids will be suitable partners for his kids (aka social climbing into the monarchy). wilhelm being queer and in love with a guy kind of fucks all that over for them. but luckily for them, he denied it so they were able to just pretend it never happened and keep treating him like a bro’s bro to protect themselves.

in all our headcanons, the forest ridge boys are actually good/decent ppl who genuinely respect wilhelm being queer. but canonically we gotta acknowledge the fact that wilhelm’s queerness being actively ignored by the forest ridge boys was not out of allyship, but was more so out of silent homophobia and self-preservation.

(Wilhelm is very endeared to their continuing friendship and is allowed occasional asides in their conversations. If Simon and Ayub need to discuss something more one-on-one, he will step into a neighboring room and use the opportunity to make family or friend calls of his own.)
