To me subzero is bi-han or kuai liang.

Kuai is subzero. The younger brother of bi-han. They are both lin kuei and cryomancers. Ice ninjas/assassins basically.

Kuai isn't a pyromancer nor is he fucking scorpion. A moniker for hanzo hasashi that hanzo gave himself. That's HIS FUCKING NAME! hanzo hasashi aka scorpion is Japanese and isn't irrechangable with kuai liang a CHINESE name. Look i still won't forget that nrs fucked them over.

I'll forgive them if and when they put things right and make an actual good game.

Interested in dancing from a young age, Etienne danced his way onto the stage at only thirteen years old. Then, disaster struck; Etienne's father, his legal guardian at the time, was convicted for murder. Etienne's older brother was given custody of him and his fame as a dancer only skyrocketed. Everyone wanted to see the son of a killer perform.

In the years since many rumors have begun to circulate around the dancer, his attitude certainly doesn't help. Etienne is a person who would rather keep to himself, however he does have a penchant for mischief.

He is, above all, a performer; dancing on a stage, putting on a show. At what point does the mask come off? Or is poor Etienne stuck, unable to take the mask off, forever performing for an invisible audience?

working on my carrd and referencing some things from the official timeline and thinking about how for a solid 2 (almost 3) years, the only kids in the guild were Laxus, Gray and Cana. This guild was flooded with adults and then there are just these three, and while Laxus would very much be an early teen when Gray joins, he's still probably too young to be considered an adult by the older members of the guild so he probably spent a fair amount of time with Gray and Cana until more kids started showing up. Just... thinking....

Childhood and Family

He was a sickly, yet jumpy toddler, but that mostly stopped after he had his encounter with Tui (when he was about 8-ish). Other than that, he was an extremely energetic and ambitious child with a single goal in mind- he wanted to help people in any way he could. He started formally training with one of his uncles when he was about 10 alongside some of the other Waterbenders of his generation, and he also volunteered to learn how to heal, so he would be able to heal those who were injured. He became very dedicated and stubborn when he was about 14-15, the years leading up to his rite-of-passage (which I'm going to talk about at a later date >:D), and he wanted to be a hunter, like his father. After that, well… he was an adult, and he wanted to leave.

Atka's immediate family is made up of him, his older sister, Sina, and his father, Ikumak. He's also got some uncles and aunts on both sides. He and his sister are annoying to each other, but they love each other very much. Atka's also kind of jealous of her and how her life turns out, since it's so very different than his (more peaceful), but he doesn't let it show. She also has arthritis, and was part of the reason why Atka learned how to heal- he wanted to try and help heal her hands. His father is a bit overprotective over the both of them, as he doesn't want anything to happen to them that might make him lose them, but even moreso Atka, since he's always been more susceptible to illness than normal. Regardless, he's willing to accept and support his son when it comes to things he's passionate/stubborn about, even if it's something he disapproves of.

2. Dynamic with Kuruk- How They Met

He has a deep amount of respect and trust for Kuruk, as well as a deep affection (they were best friends- room-mates, even /j). They also have a very guilt-laden undercurrent to their relationship- it's a lot of "I could have saved you" "I should have been there" "I could have helped" stuff. Kuruk struggles with this guilt even moreso than Atka does- he's the Avatar, he should have protected him in any way he could. It's made even more dramatic by the fact that they both would sacrifice themselves for the other and eventually end up doing so.

They met when he was about 25, Kuruk at 26, and it was in a seedy bar somewhere in the lower Earth Kingdom. Kuruk was piss-drunk, just fucking around in the bar and stuff, when Atka accidentally spilled someone's drink. Said guy whose drink got spilled them tried to kill him! Fun times! Kuruk tried to help, but ended up slipping, falling underneath a table, throwing up once, hitting his head on the underside of the table twice, and then passing out. Atka (still alive, survived the attack) pitied him and was like "… this dude is pathetic. I think I'll give him my room for the night." From there they became drinking buddies to best friends to (doomed) lovers. I'm actually working on writing this out! It'll get posted... sooner or later...
