Whitebeard verse

⭐️ Camilla tends to be more formal with Marco that she is with the others. Not because she is scared of him or feels distant from him. But because he is someone she highly respects since he is not only the first division commander but also a doctor. He is someone she looks up to. 

⭐️ It would be rude to ask but Camilla is extremely curious about his devil fruit and its limitations. Clearly, she doesn’t want to inquire about how is immortality works / if he could die. But there are other things she wonders about related to it. How long has he lived, what can he heal, how did he get the devil fruit, etc. Also, can he lay an egg in bird form (is Junior actually their son since Marco is a bird technically?). 

⭐️ She is very attached to her own division and Izo as her commander but because of the ties her friends (Rosa, Ace, Tomoe), she tends to ask Marco for advice and questions about the crew. She also likes to ask him about past adventures, especially if it involves the others. 

⭐️ Bonus, since she spends lots of time on the ship she babysits Junior.

░ ⌜❁⌟ Eyes looked out at the vast sea surrounding the ship. It had been years since she was last on a boat, and that time she didn’t get to appreciate the beauty of it. The girl could stay and stare forever if it weren’t for a figure out the corner of her vision. Giving one last glance to the ocean, as if asking it to calm her nerves, she set off to approach the first division commander.

  The White Beard pirates were a rather large crew, and while Camilla was no shy person, the number of powerful members (and lack of females and teenagers) left her feeling small. She was grateful for being allowed on and didn’t want to push her luck. But still, the girl wanted to ask someone who knew the captain how she could improve. 

              ❝Commander Marco!❞ She called out before he could disappear from her view, the ship was so big she doubted she would run into him for a while. ❝You’ve been with White Beard the longest right?❞

░ ⌜❁⌟ ❝I did, and you?❞ Camilla answered the other’s question but her eyes remained on the skyline. Memorized by the glowing pink and yellow hues the sun brought. She could easily understand why Rosa enjoyed being up so early. The way the sea reflected the light, made her want to wake up more often too. 

             ❝I love this weather.❞ The girl stretched her arm above her head, shaking out the remaining sleep. ❝Summer warmth, right before the real heat comes.❞

Days later Camilla's birthday, Deuce goes to knock on her door moments before they're all called for breakfast, calling out for her with a distinctive urge and disappearing right after. Like many had already done, it was easy to notice her affinity to flowers thus, he left a bouquet framed in copper edging and pressed against double glass holding itself from a strong piece of rope with the flowers being from the last island they stopped at for resources. 1/2

Yet, as an apology for underestimating the amount of work he’d be dealing with that day which left him with no time to even wish her a happy birthday, he does it again, leaving her another frame so she would see it when going to her room after having dinner. However, one thing that he’d never say, no matter how pressured he’d get, is that the bouquet itself had been miraculously stolen from a party he came across as he searched for her gift. 2/2 // @infcrtunii

��� ⌜❁⌟ One thing she wasn’t used to was the attention her birthday brought. It was overwhelming but in a sweet way. Spending the day with her fellow crewmates, the high amount of members kept the day busy well into the night. Her eyes peeled for the members she was more familiar with. Oddly enough despite her status as a member of the sixteenth division, most of her friends came from the second. A majority that she was able to meet. 

  It wasn’t until days later that she finally spotted the blue-haired male. Doing a mini-run Camilla approached him, going in for a quick hug greeting. “Deuce! The frames were from you right?” She wasted no time asking for confirmation on what was already known. ❝They’re so pretty! I hung them up right away.❞

  She was about to fire more questions, wondering how they were made, what island the flowers were from. But the girl made a pause, suddenly remembering something very important.❝Thank you very much for the gift, it was extremely thoughtful.❞

(for your wb verse) He hadn't gotten the chance to interact too much with the young girl after all she hadn't been part of his division but he heard it was her birthday and would take the time to wish her ❝Hey, Camilla, right?❞ the 1st division commander speaks. ❝Happy Birthday-yoi~❞ adding with a warm smile before handing her an air plant terrarium decorated with teal aqua moss and shells matching the colors of her hair; all he knew had been her love for plants so he hoped she'd like this too.

░ ⌜❁⌟ At first, the girl tilted her head curiously, wondering why phoenix commander was approaching her, slightly hoping that she wasn’t in any sort of trouble. But those concerns quickly vanished when she got her answer. Instead, her own smile replaced her confused expression. 

             ❝This crew really is like a big family.❞ Camilla was surprised, save for a few people, she had thought that with such a huge group her birthday would go undetected. And yet she was receiving such a suiting gift. ❝Thank you so much Marco! I’ll definitely treasure this.❞

░ ⌜❁⌟ ❝I heard there’s a festival on the island tonight.❞ The girl’s excitement was clear as she relayed the information to her commander. Life at sea was fun, but there were a few treats on land she barely got to experience. ❝Can you help me with a kimono?❞ The bow was difficult to tie but she still wished to wear one.

░ ⌜❁⌟ Purple hues watched the commander land. For a moment her actions were halted, stuck in awe at the blue flamed wings. Almost allowing herself to forget her original objective. 

              ❝Marco-san, correct?❞ The girl walked up to the other. ❝Izo asked me to give you this note.❞

░ ⌜❁⌟ The gesture was unexpected but much appreciated. Camilla held herself still for a moment only letting her mouth move into a smile. She had not much to base on but she assumed it was Olivier’s way of greeting her. 

             ❝Hello to you too.❞ The girl reached up a gave the other’s hair a quick ruffle in return. ❝Did you just get back?❞

Silently sits here and drops head on the younger's lap.

░ ⌜❁⌟ ❝Olivier-san! Hello!❞ Camilla was surprised by the sudden action but never the less delighted to see her. ❝Did you just get back?❞

░ ⌜❁⌟ ❝Is this yours?❞ Camilla was crouched next to a game board, examining it up until the other had walked up. ❝I swear I didn’t move a single piece, honest.❞ She was simply observing, she hadn’t seen a game with this kind of set up before.

░ ⌜❁⌟ If one got to know the botanist, they would say she is outgoing. Yet despite the group being “family”, she found herself having a hard time joining the party. There were few members she was acquainted with, those in her own division and a couple in the second division. None of which she could currently spot. t stop her eyes However that didn’t stop her from scanning the crowd from afar looking for them. Wishing to use one of her friends as an excuse to join a conversation. 

  Hues landed on a purple haired female and stayed there for a moment. Camilla didn’t recognize her, but that was hardly surprising. What was a surprise was when the female in question seemed to disappear Leaving the tealette speechless while she tried to relocate the other. She wasn’t searching for long. 

              ❝Ah-! h-how did you do that?❞ Her curiosity took over, and before she could remember her shyness the question slipped her lips. Only after did she remember her manners, blushing slightly from embarrassment from her actions. ❝Sorry. I was just watching the party, I didn’t mean to bother you.❞

!star -asks her about all the names of the pretty flowers, particularly showing interest in the night ones-

░ ⌜❁⌟   Camilla flipped through her flower book, showing pictures of the plants she was lucky enough to see.❝Moon flowers are some nice, they stay closed during the day and open back up at night. I also like Four′O’Clock, they’re very colorful.❞ 

  Maybe she should find some seeds of these flowers and plant them in the ship’s garden. That way the blonde would have something to stay up at night with.❝Which ones do you like?❞

░ ⌜❁⌟ A light blush formed across her face. Camilla wasn’t exactly sure if she wanted a star for herself, but it would be a lie if she said she didn’t like the idea. It was breathtakingly romantic to have a star watch over you. To love you enough to descend fro the heavens just to be with you.

  Rosa and Ace’s story was almost envious. But the tealette couldn’t see it for herself. 

             ❝I think I’ll find love the old fashion way.❞ Spoken with a smile. ❝You know, create my own love story.❞ A star falling from the sky is something that should only happen once after all.

░ ⌜❁⌟ ❝Commander Ace-! Wait!❞ The tealette tried to return the celestial being, but the male already left. She wasn’t even in his division, so why was she tasked with answering this questions. Not that she didn’t like the other girl- but it was still awkward never the less.

star!au ❝Why do humans wish on falling stars?❞ it seemed a bit insensitive to the star for them to hang their wishes on her dying sisters and brothers.

░ ⌜❁⌟ Camilla paused for a moment, trying to think of an answer that would be more appropriate. The simply truth was that wishing on stars was a child’s fairy tail. But it seemed that saying so to the human star wouldn’t be right. 

             ❝Well… Because stars are such higher beings, but when they fall they are closer to us. So if our wish can’t reach the heavens, us humans hope that they could at least reach that falling star.❞
