🥛⠀. . .⠀ ♡ ⠀੭ ˚ it's true that daesung gets plenty of praise , he'd been showered in affectionate words ever since he was old enough to pick up his guitar . at the same time , there are instances when he blends into the background &. fans are more biased for a pretty voice over guitar . not that daesung minds being second - or - third choice , the peace that comes along with it keeps his ego in check . “ consider me thoroughly complimented , i'm flattered . ” nami's last comment shocks daesung slightly : he doesn't think of himself as so important that his time is a blessing , but he doesn't look offended either . just shaking his head with a sharp draw of breath to correct her , “ talking with people who are passionate about music are moments that i find happiness in - doesn't matter if they're a fan . i would stay here talking with you all day if i could ! ”

✿𝅼⠀    𝅄         nami    doesn't    know    when    she'll    get    the    opportunity    to    interact    with    him    like    this    again    .     so    as    anyone    can    tell     ,     she    went    for    the    shameless    route    .     she's    fully    aware    there's    a    clear    boundary    between    fan    and    idol     .   .   .     so    she    went    all    out     ,     thinking    this    is    the    only    time    they'll    get    to    talk    .     dark    hues    notices    the    way    his    ears    turned    into    a    deep    shade    of    red    and    she's    shock     +     finds    it    endearing    how    her    shameless    flirting    seems    to    have    an    effect    on    him    .        "     i    just    want    to    compliment    you    .     i    think    you    deserve    to    be    praised    for    your    talent    even    though    i'm    sure    you    get    those    often    .     but    thanks     !     it    already    means    a    lot    that    you're    complimenting    me    and    giving    a    little    bit    of    your    time    .     "

💭⠀ . . .⠀ ♡⠀ ꒱ under nami's praise , daesung suddenly feels flustered . you'd think that by now the locally famous rocker would be used to fans , but he still remains humble + shy . “ that seems sensible , you should always practice even if you reach perfection . ” dae pauses slightly , unsure of how to react professionally . he lifts his hand to itch at his nose with a smile pulling at his lips , “ and thank you , i really appreciate it . . . ”

🥛⠀. . .⠀ ♡⠀ ੭ ˚ daesung is always glad to make strangers happy , regardless of whether or not they know about the band + his talent for the guitar . but nami's so sweet + dae's such a people pleaser , he feels like he's on cloud nine right now , even if the tips of his ears and cheeks have turned several shades darker . “ a musician's most powerful tool is their instrument — i really take that quote to heart ! ” he watches her movements with interest and lets out a short laugh , “ hey ! what's with all the praise ? i came here to compliment you ! ” it's a good natured tease , a sign that his confidence is trickling back .

✿𝅼⠀    𝅄         lips   could   break   at   this   point   .    nami   would've   never   thought   she'll   be   having   an   experience   like   this   with   someone   who   she   looks   up   to   and   actually   likes   .    all   she   knows   is   that   after   this    ,    she'll   be   filling   woojin   with   every   detail   of   this   once   in   a   lifetime   interaction   .      "    i'll   take   note   of   that   then    ,    "      she   nods   .      "    is   that   why   you're   so   good   then    ?    because   you   still   keep   practicing   even   when   you're   already   perfect    ?    "      a   shy   smile   curls   upon   her   lips    ,    looking   away   to   prevent   herself   from   exploding   any   further   .      "    you're   welcome   .    i   just   think   you   deserve   to   hear   it   .    "
