i. as much as jaden talks down graveyard and pretends he doesn’t enjoy their music he absolutely does , and there’s a part of him that’s almost jealous of their musical prowess . perhaps there’s a graveyard / fish brains collab somewhere in the near future ( filed under : thread ideas ? )

ii. if jaden was ever to dye his hair again -- which , let’s face it , is quite the possibility now he’s approaching a midlife crisis -- he’d absolutely call upon cyrus to help . he may have been an expert at smothering black box die through shoulder length strands in his teenage years but now ?? he’d employ the skills of his close friend to at least help him get the back .

iii. he’d be lying if he said that the idea two of his friends were going to pair off and become one didn’t freak him out slightly , but there’s also a part of jaden that feels as if he were cupid for bringing them together at his birthday party . he couldn’t think of anybody better to be at zeferino’s side and , even if he’s caught in the crossfire of gossip , updates and proof-reading texts , he supports the relationship wholeheartedly . jaden loves love , after all .

iv. if they weren’t both spoken for i’m sure these two would’ve at least hooked up.

telephone the girls from the next street wonder if the sounds are connecting trying to see the future in what they see in us , see in us now wanna ditch the predictability hit the road , 18 on 83 some are lost , some are found , the world is shrinking down how were we supposed to know it all adds up when you let go? and where are we supposed to go from here? we're too far gone to turn back now it's all for one , lost in the crowd and all for nothing if it disappears

i. jaden sees zef as more of a brother than a friend and he always has done , ever since the start of his friendship . he had a lot of time for the guy and never passes up an opportunity to sit and share anecdotes , gain updates on each other’s lives , and provide advice ( most notably dating advice , although jaden is absolutely not the expert in such a field ) . although jj is an only child zef is the closest he’s ever got to a sibling , and he’s not willing to let such a friendship go . 

ii. if jaden isn’t at least one of the best men at cyrus and zef’s wedding he’s gonna kick off . i’m not kidding . call it a cupid complex , but he totally takes some credit for the success of their blossoming romance by providing the setting for them to reconnect , and being the mediator between the two of them when they needed someone to gush to . 

iii. the boys , through their myspace conversations , had always planned to go and sit in the desert to gave up at the stars one day . an avid amateur of the constellations jaden always has his head in the clouds and , now that they’re together in person rather than communicating through a screen , they’re able to go out every now and again with miniature binoculars and old books from the library , to try and point out the glistening balls of light in their varying patterns . most guys would spend friday nights at the bar or the strip club , but not these two .

iv. the reorganisation of his cupboards and DVD collection didn’t last long at all . sorry , zef -- you might need to come around and alphabetize jj’s collection more often .

i. jaden has an entire folder on his phone of screenshots from their various facetime and skype calls -- some are where the screen froze in an unflattering position , others with hilarious filters that swapped their faces or made the other look like some sort of woodland creature . if fai ever crossed him he had an abundance of blackmail material , that was for sure . 

ii. he keeps a box beneath his bed filled with their postcards , their letters , the keychains and souvenirs sent from the different countries , continents and states they’d travelled to and from over the years . although they’re in the same place now he can never bring himself to get rid of them , hard copies of their development over the years and their evolution into adulthood . 

iii. they always planned to start a band together , even going as far as to jam over skype to some of their favorite shared songs . truthfully jaden never expected their dreams to become a reality , but upon their move to roswell he wasted no time inviting fai to drum for ‘ fish brains ‘ . the rest was history -- all that was left now was to secure a few gigs , maybe even a record deal while they’re at it . 

iv. their chats , email trains and meme exchanges near singlehandedly kept him sane during his prolonged hospital stay , and their arrival to be by his side helped through weeks of being bound to the couch doing nothing but binging movies and playing video games .
