rapid fire facts about helmin:

• they have no permanent living space , rather to stay on the move at all times , they live out of sketchy , cheap motels. not only are they affordable , but they also give another place to [usually] feast in peace. • helmin also has no vehicle of their own , resorting to stealing the keys of whomever they eat. the same goes for credit cards / bank accounts , helmin will just use their victim’s money until it runs out. • because helmin’s travel means are not a guarantee , they often resort to hitchhiking or walking. they prefer to ride with truckers , as a callback to their origin. also makes for easy picking. • their favorite flower is technically goldenrod , a native plant here in IL. despite this , since they’re easier to find and more ‘aesthetic’ , helmin says they prefer roses. • mementos are kept of each kill , usually the ID and wallet , and helmin does like to relive the kills occasionally. they keep these in a self-made hidden pocket of their luggage. • helmin dances at sketchy clubs for quick cash and an easy spot to seek out prey. despite this , they still maintain their website zombietit.com for personal photography and videos ; most of it behind an 18+ wall , occasionally a paywall , too. they'll do photography jobs if they come up , but it's not often. • they watch 50's romance movies in their spare time or before bed. no real reason why. it's not unusual to catch them dancing to the music or singing it in the shower when they think no one is around. • the name helmin comes from helminth , a type of parasite.

Why is Helmin scared of pigs???

mostly from the tale of legion , mark 5:9-13.

And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. this is just one example , and the primary one. i don't remember if other demonology/demonolatry books mention it off the top of my head. it also adds context to helmin's fear of open water/the sea ; though deep water is mentioned more in other texts as something demons fear/dislike.
