in sophomore year, there was a sign plastered to the door of the west girl’s bathroom that said closed for extreme misuse. nobody really knew what happened and it was the talk of the school for a couple days, but the truth is that presley dropped her tampon in the toilet, tried to flush it, causing the toilet to get clogged, and was so embarrassed she hid the actual cause of the clog under toilet paper. but then when the next person went into the stall and tried to flush, the toilet overflowed, while presley was trying to act innocent by washing her hands. she probably hasn’t told anyone about this tbh.

well besides the bathroom thing... okay in high school she helped her older sister, dakota, bake a bunch of muffins from quaker oats mix when she was in the ninth grade and her sister was in the twelfth. she didn’t know she would then be tasked into selling them to local stoner kids. presley sold oatmeal muffins to kids with the munchies for that entire year, and nearly got caught. they didn’t, though, and now her sister is a marketing associate in syracuse lmao.

answered here but here’s another: she always has mismatched socks but most people think it’s by accident. that’s what she tells them, that she can’t be assed to sort her socks in the laundry. but that’s actually Not True; when she was like seven she read a book where the protag always wore mismatched socks and she thought that was so cool so she started doing it on purpose. at this point it’s just a part of her brand and a thing she likes to do. she also coordinates her mismatched socks but that’s extra top secret.

presley has a deeply ingrained fear of mirrors. like if she passes by a mirror without expecting it, she jumps. if she stares into her reflection for too long, she freaks herself out. the only mirror in her bedroom is on her desk, and she lays it down on the desk before she goes to sleep. she is deeply, deeply terrified of her reflection moving independently of her.

she does not step on any crack. ever since she was five and her older cousin told her “step on a crack you break your mother’s back” she will NOT do that shit PERIODT. like every time she walks on pavement she specifically plans every step so she won’t step on a crack.

presley is actually a very good singer. she did lessons as a child, and her mom wanted her to do a recital, but she never liked anyone to see it. it felt too serious, too much. it was all eyes on her but in the worst way possible, like everyone was taking her seriously. anyways she can do a joke bad singing thing but when she’s not paying attention she’ll sing to herself in what’s actually a really beautiful voice.
