Could I request a comfort fic for Kaeya comforting reader (who has stress induced insomnia). I haven't been able to sleep or get stuff done to the stress from the previous days results and honestly I'm just really scared and nervous and can't sleep. Some comfort would be appreciated.

- as observant as he is, he could immediately tell something was off the moment you seemed to get more quiet than usual.

- he has a way with words, he’ll find out what’s bothering you one way or another.

- when you express your inability to sleep he would give you a sympathetic look, holding his arms out for you to join him in your shared bed.

- he would gently hold you, running his fingers through your hair, and would probably make a few lighthearted comments in an attempt to lighten the mood. “Usually, I’m the night owl. You aren’t off to steal my title, hmm?”

- if you wanted to talk about it, he would listen. he would give you amazing advice or just reassure you that everything will be okay, and that he’ll be there for you.

- if you didn’t want to talk about it, he wouldn’t pressure you. although, he would probably ask you when you were feeling better.. he would likely tell you stories or just talk to help take your mind off it.

- he would stay up with you until he knows for sure that you have finally fallen asleep. he understands what it’s like to be burdened with thoughts that keep you up at night. he would be there for you.

- he was telling you a story about some gossip he heard during his patrol around town until he heard your soft snores gently coming from your now sleeping figure.

- he would smile softly and make sure you were comfy before falling asleep shortly after, still holding you in his arms.

- in the morning he would surprise you with your favorite meal from your favorite place to eat. he would take off work and spend the day with you. surely not to keep an eye on you, he’s worried about you okay?

- would spoil you with gifts and affection for the day to make sure your day is stress-free. if you were to protest, he would pout and say “Now that’s not the proper attitude.. What you mean to say is “thank you””

- won’t directly say it, but he would keep a close eye on your mannerisms and how your acting. he worries about you a lot and would do anything to make sure your alright. if you wanted to spend your time home for the day? done. if you were craving some dessert? already paid for. he wants to try to brighten your day, even by just a little. you deserve it, after all. <3

I know this is mostly a Diluc fan page, but the Kaeya brainrot has been strong for me recently.

I saw this one Tumblr post about the "I'd die for you" trope and one person was saying how they like "I'd live for you better." It's such a Kaeya-coded line. Him, who has seen darkness and lost everything important to him, can find joy and peace with the reader, so much so that they become his world. And he would strongly wish to spend the rest of his life with you.

The feeling would be just as mutual for Callie. I could imagine that she'd probably be the first person ever to see underneath his eye patch. As a baby, she'd probably be patting or grabbing at his eye patch to see underneath and is just in awe of him in all her innocence. And Kaeya would have some hope and relief for that brief moment.

It's not a Diluc fan page 😂 I never intended to make it one. It's still funny to me that it's considered such, but it's probably beacuse Diluc is not one of my favorites anymore.

But this fact aside, I did saw that post! One of my moots reblogged it, I believe. And the "I'd live for you" is truly Kaeya-coded! Once he meets someone who'll love him unconditionally, he'll truly change his opinion on how he lives his life and that it's worth living.

Awwwwww I love this little detail for Callie! While I do believe Kaeya would let his wife see underneath his eye patch, his daughter's reaction would touch his heart strings more. Because there is not pity in her gaze, just awe and fascination, and clear notion of her finding her dad pretty.

The content of the letter was just a couple of random nonsense about their next possible meeting between the two of them, and in the box there were a few paints and pencils that he wanted to give to Mika, as well as a couple of books that he asked for both of them. They could argue, since Scarlet told her about that editorial in Inazuma, that the redhead loved-

-With that done he returned to the safe location that Dottore sent him to tell him his next mission and after that he would return home to play a new game of TCG with his mother the Tsarina, only if Pierro didn't drown her in homework on political literature from new-

I'm dying Reader being so bloodthirsty and unstable, but also doing mundane things 😭 it's such a funny contrast to me + they'd totally befriend anyone they find interesting/worthy of their time. With their brothers/any other tsaritsa opponent: 🤬👊 vs With their friends: 😇❤️

IMAGINE IF THEY WERE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH BOTH, they'd be switching so swiftly it's scary.

+ The harbingers full of their bs but still acting on the role of siblings/parents and indulging in their requests, even if it's a game of TCG. That meeting can wait. Or they can optimise things and play while conducting the meeting, it's not like the lower recruits will have the courage to comment on it.

diluc canonically being the more rambunctious child while kaeya was roped into their shenanigans.... diluc charging out of the winery with his claymore because he thought some naked guy was harassing his maids.... diluc sneaking alcohol when he and kaeya were younger.... guh

The first time I saw this two days ago I felt so touched that you are curious about my opinion 🥺💜

And now, when I am finally done with Kaeya's hangout I am so fhsyshabsuwi holding him in my hands 🤲

I literally spammed a friend about it so much and there were so many moments I nearly cried about.

I KNEW DILUC WOULD BE THE TROUBLE MAKER KID WHILE KAEYA WOULD BE A SHY POLITE ONE. One that note I also wanted to cry so much when Adelinde told us stories about the two, I love her so so much, I was excited to see her 💜 Also it feels like Kaeya was a little more favourite to Adelinde lmao - she couldn't protect those rare bottles from him. And that's also adorable. She wants to spoil him every chance she has😩

ALSO THE WAY DILUC IS SO HUFFY YET STILL WELCOMING OF KAEYA AT THE WINERY. And it's so amazing how everyone at the winery misses and trusts Kaeya - that moment when he sends Elzer to the doctor and the man passes the winery duties to the Cavalry Captain WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT had me pleasantly stunned. And Kaeya handled things immaculately.

AND HOW THEY STILL ADDRESS HIM AS MASTER KAEYA AND ARE SO SWEET WITH HIM.

It was also nice to hear a little bit about Crepus. I bet this man had weekly headaches from raising two boys. And that he made a drink specifically for Kaeya (and I believe he did this to both sons many times) is so heartwarming.

And how Diluc is protective of his maids 😭 grabbed his weapon and ran outside to protect them the moment they assumed the danger.

I loved the three ways of Kaeya's hangout - in Sumeru, Liyue and helping the choir, but my ultimate favourite ones are at the Dawn Winery. I haven't felt such warmth from any of the character's hangouts. Everything is just as I pictured it to be.

On side note - now that Diluc being a troublemaker is a canon, I can say that Rufus from my family AU is gonna be so much like his father in his chilhood and teens.
