how long have you been plural??

i first figured it out when i was 15, but my (21-year-old) plural boyfriend at the time told me i was deluding myself because i wanted to be more like him. which made my original host go "aahhhh truuuuue how embarrassing well i guess i'll just leave it to the other me since people seem to like her better than me" and then promptly die so that we could be a Regular Singlet.

fortunately this did not work!! and by the time i was 18 or 19 i had a couple of headmates once again even if i didn't call them that. they were distinct enough from me that i had friends who would ask to speak with them and stuff like that.

skip ahead, lots of life stuff causing whirlwinds in my brain and stuff.. eventually (in august 2023) i began properly thinking of myself as "plural" and started having actual conversations with my headmates.
