i love that adam isn't allowed at first to walk around hell on his own bc he is 1. not very smart && 2. not used to being around people who will trick him

adam is considered royal consort , since he is a romantic partner of both the king && queen. he has no claim to the throne of hell , nor does he want it , but he is considered part of the royal family. occasionally he will attend important events with his partners , though not very often as he can be a bit nervous about appearing publicly ― especially shortly after his fall.

he has serious anger issues. adam simply isn't the kind of person who knows how to conceal his feelings ; even when he tries to , he does a piss poor job of it. adam's anger started to get bad after losing eden ― which was likely a side effect of evil being let into the world with eve's act of defiance. his feelings control him way more than he could ever control them , so when he gets angry he is prone to saying && doing things he doesn't really mean / regrets. smashing things , yelling , it's typical male rage. but unfortunately this can make him very frightening when you're near him during these outbursts ; he's very up in your face && can get very mean when he's angry. ( this is one of the major reasons he struggles to maintain relationships. )

adam really struggles to communicate with people , especially partners. he doesn't know how to ask for what he needs , he can't accurately express his feelings ― or at least , he doesn't know how to put what he's feeling into words. so things build up in him && then he explodes.

he's a narcissist , plain && simple. this is something again i think developed after losing eden. he became a very nasty , self centered person ; but the reality of it is that it comes from a place of deep insecurity. the big ego is to cover up his ?? humiliation && pain over losing both of his wives , bc it ultimately made him feel like he was inadequate. which is something he has never really gotten over , i think it's slowly gotten worse as time went on.

lucifer && lilith having guilt over what they did to adam kills me. dude literally constantly got the short end of the stick-- continuously lost things && sacrificed in order to give birth to humanity. so his whole "you people should be worshipping me" comes from thousands of years of build up resentment towards lucifer , towards heaven. towards everything.
