when prosciutto finally loses this bet by getting too drunk and making terrible mistakes , anyone who even mentions it will go missing for 10 days . he learnt a lot from sorbet and gelato . someone is getting locked in a freezer room .  he won’t look at melone for weeks , and his ash tray is always packed full of used cigarettes .  he witness everyone giving money to melone and his trust of the team dies with every member’s contribution from the bet .  pesci has to go on missions with him , and he’s afraid , the man’s a ticking time bomb , he’s going to lose his fucking mind .

since  i  went  on  a  ramble  about  this  with  ghost  last  night  i’m  here  to  continue  the  discussion  of  the  everybody  lives  au  where  prosciutto  barely  survives  and  loses  both  his  arm  and  the  vision  in  his  right  eye.    his  right  eye  was  permanently  damaged  and  scarred,    and  though  it’s  still  there  it’s  dulled  over  and  noticeably  uncooperative.    similarly,    his  arm  was  torn  off  by  bucciarati  and,    like  with  his  eye,    he  doesn’t  get  a  prosthetic  from  the  speedwagon  foundation  in  regards  to  giorno’s  connections.    he’s  too  prideful  to  accept  it  either  way,    and  would  prefer  to  bare  the  injuries  inflicted  by  his  failure  to  complete  the  mission.    for  6  months  he’s  kept  under  intense  care  and  underwent  rehabilitation  for  his  legs,    which  were  also  damaged  during  the  train  incident.    for  another  6  months  after,    he  needed  a  cane  to  help  him  walk  and  it’s  only  two  years  later  from  the  whole  incident  that  he  no  longer  needs  that  support.    prosciutto  doesn’t  like  bringing  attention  to  his  injuries,    but  it’s  one  that  is  easy  to  hide  with  his  decent  attire  and  large  jackets.

❛   adoption .   ❜   had it been anyone else ,   prosciutto would have scoffed ---- instead the intention lingers on his lips ,   not quite revealing itself in full .   the cat pawing at his leg is gently lifted with his foot and shoved aside ,   nose crinkling at the creatures littering the kitchen floor .    they made more mess then the others did .    ❛   i wouldn’t call it that .   kept against their will seems to be it .   ❜   formaggio’s obsession with the animals was as worrying as how he treated them .   forcing even creatures like these into submission was ridiculous .   at least they hadn’t been met with the strays he often picked up   ( ‘strays’  )  and instead were greeted by a bundle of kittens .   risotto was too sparing at times ;   at least in relation to his squad members .   prosciutto wasn’t completely heartless ,   but he knew how to get the dirty jobs done .   releasing kittens to the street wouldn’t be the worst thing he’s ever had to do .   ah ,   but the disappointment on pesci’s face would be harder to deal with  ...   and ,   it seemed risotto was more in favour of letting them stay .

❛   oi ,   you’re not seriously thinking about keeping them ?   ❜   expression falls ,   dejected and defeated .   questioning risotto now would be futile .   he sighs to himself ,   readjusting his coat’s collar and side eyeing the relatively clean kitchen .    ❛   i’ll have pesci clean in here more often.   ❜   there’s no point in inserting his opinion anymore ,   risotto had made up his mind .
