i will warn you that there will be more anger than anything else, but you will definitely take a trip through the entire spectrum of emotions more than once. it is very sweet of you to say that, but sometimes i don't feel like i'm able to party for a whole week, and bounce back like it never happened. at this point if i've been at an event for longer than three hours i'm ready to call it quits by the fourth hour. i think you should ride that oscar nomination until the end of time. some people go their whole career and never have an oscar worthy mention, so gloat about that all you want. if they so much as invited me to the oscars i would never stop talking about it. oh, i love the planet of the apes films! i will definitely give it a watch and let you know the result.

Really? Well, that's right up my street. I love it when a show takes me through the whole spectrum of emotions, sadness, anger, happiness, all wrapped up in one. That's the mark of a truly good one. And rightly so, babe! But I totally get how all that celebrating can wear you out, though, you say that as if you're not still young enough to throw a week-long party without breaking a sweat. i'll be honest, i have no idea what's going on as well. i've been in the united states for over a decade and i've tried to follow football, but i simply do not understand it. there are too many rules, and i usually get bored after a while. i just sit on the side lines and root for whoever gets one of those touchdown thingys.

aussie media isn't for everyone, so no offense taken. i stand firm on the fact that i want to do as much aussie media as i can to bring a little more life back into it. i'm glad to hear that you've become invested in the show. it's one of those heartbreaking, yet infuriating shows that you simply cannot stop watching. the plot is very uncomfortable, but unfortunately that sort of thing happens so often, and bringing awareness to those tough situations is very important. i think just growing up and hearing the story the show was based off of was enough to draw me to the role. i'm always looking for ways to push myself as a performer, and i feel like this role definitely helped take my abilities to a whole new level. when you play a role that dabbles in terminal illness you want to be able to approach it with as much care and understand as possible, so being able to do that in a respectful manner was key for me. yes! i am so glad to hear that. if i don't see you win a grammy within the next year i might riot.

i'm actually on episode three and fully obsessed. not to neg your country, but i was genuinely surprised i liked it—aus media can be hit or miss. though, i gotta say, heartbreak high is also a vibe. yours just feels so fresh. love the wall-breaking intros, and while the whole cancer plot is a bit uncomfortable, i think it'll open up some important conversations. what originally drew you to the role? oh, and 2025? the grammys totally rebooted my songwriting bug, so i'm back to scribbling ideas for the next era.

thank you so much. it truly does mean a lot. the amount of people who have told me they've heard nothing but good things about the show has made me feel unstoppable. to know that so many people that i love and admire are talking about me in such a positive light, it definitely reminds me why i do this. i have a little bit of a break coming up. minus a few little press things here and there, i'm taking a few weeks to just relax and unwind. i've been traveling back and fourth from australia for weeks, and the flight alone is enough to tire me out for months. nothing wrong with that. taking time to relax and chill is simply necessary after putting in the work. do you have anything coming up this year?

it's a very short mini series, but it tells such a huge story in those six little episodes. if you get the chance to tune in, please let me know what you think. it's arguably one of my best performances, so i'd love to hear what the viewers think. i appreciate that, thank you so much. i also love to see that. i don't understand how people aren't able to support others. we should always want to see other people thrive. i think that's a great accomplishment. when you start to focus on your own growth and success, it's a huge accomplishment. we often forget to put ourselves first, and when you are able to do that you unlock so much potential within yourself.

it's called apple cider vinegar, and it's sort of a true—ish story based on a lie. that is the best way to describe it without giving the plot away. it's an honor to know that you enjoyed it's what's inside. that film was very much outside of my comfort zone, and it pushed me to new heights in my career. i also am pushing for a sequel. i told them i'd be on board to do another film, so we'll see if they actually make it happen. nikki's story definitely isn't over yet. i think you've had quite the year. gladiator 2 was such a fantastic film, that alone is the biggest accomplishment. what's the name of the play?

oh and what is that second project? i have seen the first movie because i've been catching up on some netflix stuff whenever i had some free time and i was quite invested in it actually. kind of hoping on a sequel. that story definitely isn't over yet. this year? not that much yet, i believe. just doing a second round of this play and bringing it to broadway at the end of the month so i guess that might be an accomplishment in a way.
