-- He smokes hard tobacco because it helps to numb the pain of his burned body. He also drink sake, but cannot get drunk due to his body heat killing the alcohol content as it goes down.

-- He can't be physically intimate with Ayumi, but does love her regardless of it being returned love from him, he'll just never say it.

-- When he first learned about the 15 minute time limit he tried to kill the doctor that diagnosed him, but Hoji stopped him.

-- He can't really eat normal food, but partakes in it anyway (though it makes him choke.

-- He's come to the brink of his body heat boiling over twice. (this divergence has it where he never died as in canon.)
