being someone who rps a character that's near the top of their universe/story's food chain means that, unfortunately, it would be very in-character for them to just eat people than to banter or taunt you, even if you're a Sinner or Noble. Nobles get obvious warnings for their behavior, but Sinners and those below them...

Belph doesn't have the patience for people who can't even be begrudgingly polite or do it out of obligation ; if you're rude to him for no reason, he'd sooner eat you than entertain the idea of having a verbal dick-measuring contest

have some Baphomet headcanons i've been stewing on since the ep drop!

⚜ she was Belphegor's first success at creating fully-sentient life that not only lives for over a hundred years, was created without the need of a secondary person's genetic blueprints, and can handle the powers directly inherited from a Sin. the Candleheads have a much smaller amount of magic in them in comparison, as their bodies are not capable of handling stress that comes with hosting greater quantities of it.

⚜ additionally, she sees Belph as both her mother and father figure ; as far as her dynamics with the other Sins/Royalty go, she's yet to have strong feelings about them outside of being figures of their respective authorities and territories.

⚜ Baphomet uses she/they pronouns, and they sometimes go by Pheobe or Phebes [ fee-bee / feebs ] as her and her mother's names are very similar.

⚜ back when Phebes was new to the realm, Belph used to be overprotective to the point of becoming a helicopter parent ; they've since done a complete 180 after a few hundred years, as they are now very hands-off in their approach to parenting, often leaving their heir unsupervised once her studies for the day have been completed.

⚜ Belph sometimes brings her to work! in some rare instances, she even has Phebes going in her place for meetings or trials when she doesn't feel like going ; she calls it a " learning experience ".

⚜ Phebes is roughly 300 years old in human years, and her mental maturity and behavior is similar to that of a young 20-something.
