TWO guys in my head rn since al is a little bit similar to daitokuji, so i'll answer this for both :0 more of a ramble than anything regarding my selfship lore since i'm trying to get back into the groove of actually developing that so!

i think both daitokuji and alhanalem have similar sleeping habits, they have similar professions and fields of study which unfortunately don't allow them to get much rest. their respective self inserts would probably find them working late into the night about to fall asleep on their desk, although in al's case, he ALSO had to help take care of yuri and chelinka for ~9 or so years... guy can never catch a break

there's a scene ingame where king kolka lets the party stay overnight and sleep in preparation to storm the temple, and al comments that it's an 'untimely record personal' for him to sleep that late. ofc my mental version of that scene had marathyssa [my rof s/i] sleeping next to him too so the whole room was like a pile of sleeping kittens but the kittens are three young adventurers and their caretakers
