♯┆tiny bits of amemari lore that i really like .ᐟ

(some of these used to be hcs that my friends made of them and i liked them enough to make them canon !!)

amethio learning tagalog for mari

i LOVE this bit of amemari lore sm because i would die if ame started speaking and learning tagalog or mandarin for me <3

while on the topic of languages, mari also ends up learning spanish/greek for amethio too!

2. mari not being able to sleep

ok so this one needs a bit of context to explain it but basically its just that mari has issues trying to fall asleep and theres two main bits of lore that i really like. one being that mari cant fall asleep without having to be physically holding onto amethio. whether it be clinging onto his arms or using him as a pillow. this is in the same sense of amethio not being able to fall asleep without hearing mari's voice and them yapping to him abt the most random things. the other bit of lore being that amethio puts on baby sensory videos/asmrs/mukbangs and anything like that just for mari to fall asleep.

3. amethio's nickname for mari

amethio gave mari the nickname 'marigold' (like the flower) and so every now and then, he just gives mari a bouquet of marigold flowers as a nod to the nickname!

4. gemstones

they basically have matching jewellery of each others respective gemstones! amethio being named after amethyst and mari being named after aquamarine. mari has amethyst rings, earrings, necklaces etc and amethio having the same jewellery but just with aquamarines instead of amethysts.

5. mari's sneezes terrifying the shit out of amethio

this one was made up by a friend but basically they made up a hc that mari has weird sneezes that range in intensity and the really loud and aggressive ones always scare the shit out of amethio. in contrast to that, amethio has really soft sneezes, yknow like the rlly soft and cute ones...
