"H-huh? Yeah, yeah, I'm okay, I'm fine." His voice wobbled a little, his irises blanked out, as if he was staring into space. He wanted to try and focus his mind onto Veronica, but his vision blurs the more he tried to act normal. As if he wasn't bad at this already.

This was a horrible combination, being sleep-deprived, and now he got this damned surging pain in his left stomach that's definitely bleeding as they continue to talk? How worse could this morning be for him?

He had to think of something, but his stubbornness somehow kept him balanced on the ground. He can't risk falling over in front of Veronica like that, she's probably been through enough already, she doesn't more of this kind of mess going on, he thought. No one else deserved to be dragged into this bullshit. He doesn't even have any damned money to get himself to a hospital, anyway, and somehow he had the gall to try and ask this person for help? What was he thinking?

He tried to lean on a desk right in front of him, using his arms as support, but he slightly grunts in more pain, but pretended it's his back hurting more than the literal, bleeding stab wound that continued to ache endlessly.

"I just need... a bottle of vodka, that's all," He said, almost cringing at himself for even asking her that. Great, now he's going to look like some deadbeat alcoholic father for saying that. "...I promise I'm not going to drink it down, I haven't even drank any alcohol in years, I just--"

He cleared his throat a little while, trying to maintain his composure a little more. "It makes for a good disinfectant."

"To be fair, a bunch of moving animatronics with nothing else to do isn't that exciting to everyone else. At least with haunted attractions, although cheesy, there's a lot of stuff going on that makes things interesting. Going to Freddy's, with their logic, sounds like they aren't going to be doing much in the pizzeria at all, unless they're an employee or something."

Henry put his hands in his pockets, trying to warm his hands in the cold night while staring at the flickering street light above them, his eyes almost distracted by it; after all, it was the only thing illuminating the mysterious night ahead of them. Henry blankly stared at his own shadow that stood uncannily tall from the street lamp. "Plus, some people's are going to not like hearing that their so-called endearing, nostalgic animatronics of Utah actually look a bit unnerving from time to time, haha. You'd be surprised how much people defend those things to hell and back."

"I just don't see the point of going into haunted house attractions when the freddy's is right up the street."

"Maybe I've just seen too many things already to really say whatever goes on in Freddy's in spooky, but for anyone else, I'd suppose, yeah. The rumors and the whole ghost stories circulating around certainly gives it some kind of... mystique mystery, I guess." Henry doesn't know if he wants to share anything further than that, though he wouldn't mind sharing if Charlie was ever curious enough.

"It's usually something related to the animatronics, or children running around in places they shouldn't be... at least, that's all the rumors I hear, anyway. You heard anything more than those?"
