There is something very cozy about the idea of Margo and Eliot having a small yet spacious enough flat in the city, like a little home away from Brakebills, something that's just them.

Of course, Q is invited to join them when they become friends.

Alice & Julia (especially if either of them is dating Margo, but also just because they are Q's friends and then become Eliot's and Margo's) somehow sort of move in with time without either of the five properly noticing because they just stay over or pop over so often and some of their things are there now and all.

The rest of the gang, like Kady (who is there because of Julia, I just know it) and Penny and Fen, at various points are also introduced to that flat, always for some important reason (because that flat is so them, so personal, to see it is like to see Eliot and Margo without their public personas and that, especially before Fillory, is huge for them), but once they are, they are free to come over.
