E foi o dono de uma grande franquia de luxuosos hotéis e coberturas em Xangai que encontrou a criança após ser resgatada por um senhor que passava por lá, agora coberta por cobertores e na esperança de sobreviver, o homem tinha acabado de perder o seu quarto filho quando avistou aquele bebê solitário na maternidade. Foi nesse momento que aquela criança sem nome se tornou Wang Zhi, uma das herdeiras de uma das famílias mais ricas da China, vivendo em Singapura, a menina cresceu e foi tratada como uma princesa. Educação de primeira, as melhores atividades, a esperança da família.

Wang Zhi se mostrou excelente em arco e flecha, o que lhe rendeu uma colocação mundial no esporte que levou a menina a representar o seu país nas olimpíadas de verão, conquistando a medalha de ouro e um recorde olímpico, a garota se tornou um partidão entre os herdeiros de fortunas da China. As injustiças em relação a menina junto com seus irmãos que fizeram o clima daquela família, simplesmente pesar.

E então, a última gota: quando ela se desfez de todas as coisas que pertenciam a falecida mãe. Uma enorme loucura aconteceu naquela mansão quando a garota não conseguiu mais manter a sua pose e a sua paciência, Sophie discutiu com ela e exigiu que seu pai a retirasse daquela casa, uma briga generalizada aconteceu junto com os irmãos que chegaram em seguida, foi então que a mulher jogou diversas acusações na cara de Sophie e acertou um tapa em seu rosto que fez a garota gritar por injustiça, o sentimento foi tão forte que fez seus olhos ganharam uma coloração diferente, como se a galáxia tivesse sido deixada em seu globo ocular e então sangue.

As câmeras de segurança gravaram o momento que a mulher pega a adaga junto com o filho mais velho dos Wangs, que pegou uma espada, ele se posiciona ao seu lado e ergue a lâmina acima da cabeça, aguardando pacientemente até que a mulher se ajoelha, crava a adaga em seu peito e curva-se para frente a caminho da morte, bastou isso para que a lâmina atravessasse o seu pescoço, fazendo a cabeça se desprender do corpo. Não tinha o que argumentar com o que tinha sido assistido ali, mas o dinheiro compra muitas coisas e, uma delas, era a liberdade de quem de fato cometeu um crime. A fuga para os Estados Unidos foi estratégica, a filha colocada sob a responsabilidade de uma delegação olímpica, treinaria em terras americanas, porém viveria longe de seus irmãos, que foram estudar em universidades diferentes, cada um em um ponto do país. Sophie foi colocada em Nova Iorque sob os cuidados de uma tutora, essa que futuramente mostrou a sua verdadeira face, antes que os poderes dela se manifestassem novamente e, então, Sophie foi levada até o acampamento. Houve uma conversa, uma preparação e demorou um pouco para que ela colocasse os pés lá, mas quando Dionísio fez o chamado, não teve mais como adiar, a mulher acabou sendo colocada lá e não demorou nem mesmo uma semana para que ela fosse reclamada por sua mãe e logo entenderam que não deviam se meter com ela, Nêmesis pareceu usar da própria voz e da própria força para que todos entendessem, aquela mulher era a sua filha, então não deveriam sequer cogitar de lhe causar qualquer injustiça. Muita coisa foi explicada e muito foi compreendido por Sophie quando tudo enfim se endireitou, agora ela precisava lidar com as mudanças, a repentina mudança de lar, a sua enorme necessidade de se manter dentro do seu esporte, os sacrifícios que tinha que fazer e, principalmente, o peso da culpa daquela morte que só aconteceu porque ela fez acontecer.
