We’d probably also have more things that make SENSE in the damn game lore-wise... And you know. An explanation for WHY WE’RE SUMMONING THE CHAMPIONS - Lemme cut myself off before I rant about that lore change lmfao...

Well yeah, Syndra’s known to be shady and except for explicitly Ahri, no one fully trusts her on Ahri’s team but they only trust her because Ahri has put her faith into her. And knowing Syndra, she would attack Ahri when Ahri was low - so most likely, she met up with Ahri to help Ahri reform her team once two new Star Guardians - Ezreal and Soraka - were appointed solely because she knew Ahri was hurting over losing three of her members.

So attacking Ahri in that moment of weakness and instilling strength in her would only break her and possibly turn her into a powerful Dark Star later on. Janna went after Lux and her team and that’s why Lux is so naively bright - Janna has her believing that even if they’re risking their lives, everything is okay because it’s for the Greater Good.

Honestly, Janna is just as bad as Syndra in this case, but at the same time Janna is the ‘White’ to Syndra’s ‘Black’. It’s the two sides of the morality coin, really. Neither are truly all good even if their intentions are Order vs. Chaos, Life vs. Death, Salvation vs. Destruction - and the Star Guardians appointed are in the crossfire, risking life, limb, and soul with no fucking reward to keep the rest of the world safe from Janna and Syndra’s petty bitch fight.

Honestly it’s just one big morality scale that is going to wind up breaking most, if not all, of the Star Guardians. Ahri believes she’s choosing her own destiny now with her new team, but Syndra’s actually pulling her strings like a puppet - just like Janna did that cost three people their LIVES.

But Zoe’s the Aspect of Twilight and Diana’s the Aspect of Moon. Saying either would be dealing with Stars only is like saying Leona will be dealing with rainbows solely because she’s the Aspect of the Sun. You’d need the Aspect of the Rain to do something with Leona to do that. Stars are a separate entity from the Moon or from Twilight ( which is actually a time of day, technically ). But I digress.

Sol is possibly related or even granted Janna her power as the First Star because he cannot control the Dark Stars - Syndra’s most famous quote, after all, is ‘Unlimited power!’ so... Aurelion can only do oh-so-much and thus creating the First Star to combat the Dark Star was the best he could do. And then Janna gets shattered, Syndra probably ALSO gets shattered in the process and loses most of her memory - most - and falls to Earth with Janna and the cycle of creating Star Guardians begins, with Janna becoming Lux’s team adviser while Syndra is Ahri’s team adviser.

Again, these are all my theories, so I can’t really say anything for or against much. And if Janna being the First Star is true, just imagine how desperate she’s getting against the fight with the Dark Stars to appoint Nunu, an ACTUAL CHILD, and Neeko as Star Guardians.

Personally? I don’t really feel that way because the Dark Star line... Feels like something else to me? Because I’ve always imagined that the Dark Stars are the “big bad guys” - think Queen Beryl or Prince Diamante of Sailor Moon - while the Star Guardians are like the Sailor Senshi, basically. You know, all fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight jazz.

In my thoughts, the First Star is not actually a ‘Sailor Senshi’ of old, but might be either A. Sol the Star Forger or Janna, since she seems to be hiding something and during the slumber party story, she asked Soraka point-blank if she remembered a time when the First Star was ‘whole’. The First Star’s power seems to be imbued in each of the Star Guardians, hence why the First Star is ‘shattered’.

Which in this case would make Syndra the epitome of the Dark Star - Syndra is the one who ‘shattered’ Janna, then.

I’m in a really good mood. I’ve gotten all of my characters capped on Elsword except for my Ain, and I’m doing good on controlling myself not to make new ones like mad and just never cap them !! My Ain ( Richter ) is 19 levels away from cap, I just finished capping my Rena ( Daybreaker ), and I have a capped Laby ( Radiant Soul ) and Add ( Mad Paradox ) !! I’ll be working on a Chung ( Comet Crusader ) next, since I deleted him so I could restart from the beginning for my main son.

Now, a mini PSA: the reason I haven’t been doing many drafts, if any at all, is I’m not feeling any of them - but they’re drafts I can’t BEAR to drop !! So I’ll work on them very slowly, but I’ll get to doing those starters I owe and also opening up another starter call. Expect that after I do my starters !!
