❛   @duskwilt asked:    "Hey, hey," Pyrrha waves her fork to garner Rasmus' attention, "do you think that if I noogied you hard enough, your hair would turn pink?" ❜    !
   ( ♟ ) —  Rasmus frowns deeply at whatever has just come out of Pyrrha’s mouth. For one, he doesn’t actually know what a noogie is and it sounds ridiculous. Even so, he places a hand on the top of his head and turns full scrutiny to her, eyebrows pinching. He wonders if sharing what he’s about to with Pyrrha will be a moment he looks back on fondly or with regret. ❝ I… don’t think so, no. But I also like to keep my part where it is because- ❞  Before he can even finish, he feels his face warm and tacks that down as embarrassment. No, he can’t do this. Even if it was genuinely just his preference, he feels silly for it. ❝ It probably wouldn’t turn pink. ❞   He watches Pyrrha for a moment longer, wondering if there’s the potential to be made fun of if he continues his train of thought or if it really is best to simply stop where he did. Pyrrha could be pretty ruthless to Rhys in the best possible way, but she had yet to be quite so to him. He was glad, since there were still moments where he was incredibly unsure what to think. Now was one of those times, too, as it were. What with Pyrrha talking about his hair turning pink. Did she really think that or was she joking ? He couldn’t tell. ❝  It’s… I like to keep my hair parted because it bothers me otherwise.  ❞  It made little sense, even to him, and he had debated dying it for that reason. But he still hadn’t. He didn’t know if he ever would.

[ HEADCANON ] — Dr.’s Tsuyoshi Miura &&. Sigrid Ström
Dr.’s Miura and Ström are, biologically, Rasmus’ parents. They’re also the founders and head researchers of Arsenal. It’s the latter of those two things that they care most about. Rasmus was born to be a lab rat. As in, they discussed having a child biologically simply to use them for their research. Rasmus has been told this before by one of his psychology tutors, trying to elicit a rise out of him and again by one of his martial arts trainers for the same reason. It never really works, because as far as he’s concerned he never needed parents. He doesn’t know what constitutes a parent or what purpose they have aside from birthing someone. He’s also had very little contact with his parents outside of testing or surgery. Occasionally Dr. Miura will check in for mission reports and Dr. Ström with new information, but that’s it. It isn’t anything special, either, because they do that for all of the agents. There’s no paternal love from either of them. To them, he’s just another specimen. To him, they’re just scientists with a cause.
