Living behind perfectly painted white picket fences where the grass is greener than green, flowers constantly blooming! Birds singing like they do in those cheesy cartoons you watch while eating a balanced breakfast. Three cars in STYLE parked in the garage or the driveway. A two-story house located in the nicest street in Riverdale. You would honestly think they came from some old classic tv show where everything just seemed SO perfect. Perfect house. Perfect family. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Jughead Jones, captain of the baseball team. Hitting home runs and bringing the Bulldogs to victory! Parents and his little sister cheering at the sidelines in every game. Goes to baseball camp, praised by the coach for doing an excellent job. Gets the whole ‘I wish you were my son’ speech. You would think that being bask in all this glory, and being the GOLDEN BOY would be a dream come true. His life is so perfect and his future is set to brilliance. Though there is more to Jughead Jones than you could ever imagine. Like how he’s not even that fond of baseball and how he’s only doing it for his dad. This isn’t his dream, this isn’t the path he wishes to take. Not saying that he hates baseball. He doesn’t, in fact, he finds it fun. Found it fun until his father kept pushing him and pushing him. Do better. Attend all baseball practices. Baseball this, baseball that. His father is making him chase after HIS dream. His mom told him the story of how his dad got in an accident. Couldn’t attend the games, which means he missed out on getting a scholarship to play for the Yankees. And so now that his father can’t reach for the stars and get what he wants. He’ll have his son do exactly that. Follow his dream. Push his son until he’s more than perfect. It’s a struggle when you don’t even want to live the dream your father wants. Doesn’t want to disappoint him when he tells his father that he wants to be a photographer. Joined the blue and gold just for that. To take pictures and he fell in love with it. The freedom, the beauty you don’t usually see in things or places. He loves it. Found a passion for photography, and wants a future with that? His father is not as understanding as he would like, his mother is too busy and his little sister is in the same position as him. Being pushed to achieve a dream that isn’t in their sights. The lack of freedom, being surrounded by people who don’t understand your dreams. Who won’t! They see life in football or soccer--- baseball! Those are what jocks do. Living the life of a Northsider is supposed to feel amazing. The royal! The riches and yer? It feels like you are in chains! What is freedom? You can’t be what you want because that’s not who you should be. You can’t fuck around because then you are ruining your future. You can’t live life free, because then you forget your goals! The rich life, the glory life isn’t always what you want. You want parents to support you, you want to be able to do as you want. Date who you want and just fuck it!
