This is set during Lilith's time within Eden, from birth to the point of fleeing.

This is set after Lilith's fleeing of Eden, where she has retreated to the Red Sea and made her home there upon the beaches, exploring the desolate world around her and making her own comforts.

☾ ⛧ ☽ verse ; it's always prettiest after the fall.

This is set after the Fall and spanning out into the older days of Hell.

☾ ⛧ ☽ verse ; from now on; home again.

Lilith has been freed from her imprisonment and allowed to return home, with the reason being vague enough for potential plot purposes. She resides in the Hazbin Hotel on week days and returns home to Morningstar Palace on the weekends for more official business. Wishing to contribute to help Charlie's goal, Lilith has become the Hotel Witch!

It happened when Charlie was very young, sometime after the Morningstar family had a new portrait done: Silent as a whisper with folk being none the wiser, the Queen was overtaken and subdued by Eve/"Eve", brought to her knees and bound inescapably in chains. She was taken by complete surprise, and that was Eve's advantage against the fellow primordial. Magic bound and silenced without hope of breaking through the seams, Lilith is her prisoner. Where the Queen is, only her captor knows, as no one has had any reason to go looking. Not when Eve/"Eve" is wearing the First Woman's visage nigh perfectly. this verse is gently married to the love potion theory on peggy's blog. "Eve" can be Roo in this scenario, or both in the case of a possessed Eve.

☾ ⛧ ☽ verse ; into wonderland.

There is a domain in Wonderland that lives in perpetual lilac eventide, haunted by an ever present moon hanging just above its great towering castle and rolling flowery fields of purple, and bowing trees of black. Spiders crawl, owls fly, snakes slither, and cats of different shapes and forms pad about here while most every soul in the land finds comfort in dozing in the enormous spider webs threaded about the landscape with dew drops. It's difficult to not fall asleep here in this Queen's realm, who rules with melody and magic. There is always a sound of bubbling in the castle, potions always brewing and large pearls floating about like bubbles! Moonflowers crawl all amongst the walls and yawn while singing lullabies while bat flowers bloom along the ceilings and take flight, and smells that range from pleasant like lavender to pungent & putrid like sulfur waft depending on where it is you roam. It is safe here, but there is an undeniable air of mystery that clings to the grounds crawling in mist. Best to not carry your ill-intent here. Alice is welcome here without fear of losing her head - that's the Red Queen's ordeal. This is the White Queen Lilith.

The Drowning (and Descension) of Lilith. Drown the witch.

I've been debating what bits and bobs of Lilith's lore to include here, but I think I'm going to include this tidbit and tweak it to fit;

The official lore (roughly summarized):

After time had passed since Lilith's fleeing of Eden, Adam cried to God that he was lonely and wanted her back. God, having heard his pleas, sent three angels (Senoy, Sansenoy, and Semangelof) to retrieve Lilith and return her to the Garden. They approach and are horrified to discover that she is surrounded by hordes of demonic spawn of her creation. Regardless, they demand that she return to Adam, to which she refuses. They threaten to drown her if she continues to refuse their demand, and Lilith still refuses.

This is my headcanon and rework, including the moment she ascended ( or rather, "descended" ) from her mortal coil;

Discussions of death, drowning, and attempted child murder beneath the cut.

Adam, despite having been attacked by Lilith, told the resident Angels who watched over the Garden that he was lonely and that he desired Lilith back. The Angels relayed this to the Higher Order, who debated this request first. They had been watching Lilith on the Red Sea's shore, they had seen what had become of her and what she had been doing since her departure of Eden and were not entirely sure that she was still worthy of Eden.. But, eventually, they agreed and sent forth three angels to attempt to retrieve the wayward soul; Senoy, Sansenoy, and Semangelof.

However, they would plan to do this stealthily. It would take place when Lucifer was attending to business on Heaven's behalf that they would put into action the attempt to retrieve Lilith.

Since leaving Eden, Lilith had begun to slip naturally into a more nocturnal schedule of sleeping during the earliest parts of day and waking in the latest. It was deep in the evening when the three angels appeared to her in her surprise - only to be met with their own surprise, and revulsion.

Two young demons, Asmodeus and Beelzebub, were found latched onto their mother's legs and watching these angels with enormous eyes of green and pink, strange and unnatural in both of their appearances. They were 'deformed' animals, deviant forms of the creatures in Eden, and their existence offended the three. Still, they were here for Lilith and would tend to these demons later. They began to politely demand that she return to the Garden.

Their disgust did not go unseen by Lilith and that was already one foul mark in their corner, and the second was how they were demanding of her. She did not entertain their request before, and now she was making her refusal known with venom. Protective energy emanated from the First Woman, that was met with intensity:

"If you do not return to the Garden, we will drown you and slay your spawn, Lilith. Return to the Eden."

Everything in Lilith had turned to ice, sharp and piercing. A heavy weight crushed the inside of her and took the air from her lungs. Their voices were both stern and gentle, and it struck Lilith with fear. Her refusal was worth being drowned? Her actions were worth being treated violently? Not only would it be her to suffer, but her children? This is the cost of saying no?

Fear. It was fear in the gut, but will in the feet and in the tremble of her lungs. Lilith was resolved as she guarded her children, hair bound around them. "No, I will not."

There was something that looked like remorse in their faces, or maybe it was an imitation, it's barely given any thought which it might be. Lilith had no time for a reaction, the ground left her and her children were left screeching as she was torn from their arms. The sudden lift made her gasp, and that was the very wrong thing to do - her lungs were flooded with water as the cold surface of the Red Sea broke to forcibly welcome her. A great grip on her neck pushed her deep beneath the waves, and glowing chains of gold lashed from the the dark to latch onto her neck and her ankles, and drag Lilith below.

Asmodeus and Beelzebub, both trapped in the arms of Senoy and Sansenoy, reached desperately with flailing arms for their mother as she disappeared quickly from heir sight in a rush of bubbles. Their cries were muffled and faint through the surface of the water, but hey made it to Lilith's ears, and the sight of blue fire consuming Senoy while flecks of gold sputtered from the jaws of Beelzebub as she sunk into Sansenoy was the last clear thing she saw before the angels left the woman to drown. Let it be their unwillingness to see the ruination of angelic creation, or let it be the rush to see to the demons being undone, they did not stay to see the intended Mother for Humanity perish.

Lilith's wings were summoned. The owl wings beat the water as she tore at the hallowed chains sizzling at her skin and tore at her own flesh, the adrenaline to survive taking seize. This is not where she would end, this is not the day her children would die, she refused. She refused, and the wildened power that had been blooming inside of her since she first drew blood in Eden agreed.

Lilith's lungs filled with water and depleted all lasting oxygen, settling deep into her body. The warmth that had been declining since her departure faded, and her heartbeat slowed itself until it nearly stopped. Serpentine pupils were embraced by beaming silver. The surrounding water pulsed in time with her unnatural heartbeat - it responded to Lilith.

She pulled at her chains that began to splinter and spike, and eventually shatter as she yanked her bleeding, gored neck and ankles free. With great speed, she escaped to the surface to find her children.

The three Angels had been intercepted by a bewildered Lucifer, who, in vain, attempted to retrieved the poor, distressed children held captive in the merciless hold of the fellow angels. He inquired many things, though one of the most reoccurring was the whereabouts of Lilith. They would only advise he return to his duties and leave them to theirs, they are acting on Heaven's behalf.

The scene was broken into with two long horns colliding into the three of them like an angered bull, scattering the angels as the mother's arms ripped her children back into her embrace and took to Lucifer's side. Rage poured from Lilith like water as she cursed the three from the Red Sea and for the final time, with no hesitance and no fear in her voice, refused to return to Eden.

There had been a shift in Lilith, the angels could see that. It had been born in Eden once she had begun to deviate from her set path and drank the blood of Adam, and now bloomed into what they considered to be a hideous fruition. Beastly horns curled upon her head, unseemly eyes, radiating hostility and violent promise - she was now fully, and entirely, a woman claimed by the wilds of the roughened world. The idea of slaying her was on the mind, as this was not part of the plan - a human existing this far with deep perversion as her core was a mar on the planned tapestry. However, Sera beckoned the three angels back to Heaven, and so they left the small and very much shaken family be.

It was all too clear now that Lilith could never return to the Garden, such a thing as she was now could never be considered the Mother of Humanity. Her place would instead be filled by Eve, who would not be taken from the same dust as both Lilith and Adam, but instead taken from Adam's rib.

What had befallen Lilith entirely fueled her decision to encourage Eve to eat from the fruit of knowledge. The fear for a woman residing within that Garden with a man like Adam and dangerous keepers like Heaven, she had to try and liberate her from such circumstances. Both she and Lucifer had to try.
