Okay but rockstar!eren having a rough show where the crowd weren't as into it as normal and storms into his dressing room, knocking everything over and smashing the mirror because he knows y/n was always the one to get everyone excited during shows like that so he calls y/n screaming illegibly and like a boss bitch she goes "I have work in the morning. Maybe one of your groupies will care" and hangs up and eren just SEETHES to the point where his manager (who 100% envision as Armin) has to drag him out before he gets banned from the club

eren has a fit on stage too, he’s on his last song of the night and he was less than pleased with what the show turned out to be, that’s how they always went these days. he didn’t sing the way he used to, he didn’t dance the way he used to, and the fans had noticed. they noticed how eren’s fire had withered into a small flame, desperately fighting to stay alive with the feeble gusts of wind that it was being fed. eren couldn’t tell you what came over him… was it rage? was it pity? why the hell did he feel like this? but as he strummed the last chord out on his guitar and looked out into the audience one last time, all he saw were thousands of faces mocking him, looking at him like he was a joke, a sellout, an old dog that couldn’t be taught new tricks. he realized what was missing… and it was you. he missed your face, your pearly whites beaming at him from general admission, he missed watching your body move like no one was watching as he sang his words for you. eren was jealous, you had moved on with your life and didn’t drop everything for him the way you used to. his mask cracked on stage, the one that put forth his massive ego. his “i don’t give a fuck” attitude. his ability to hate with no inhibitions. fuck you for not being there, fuck you for moving on, and fuck himself for letting you. eren didn’t give his usual “goodnight *city name!*” goodbye speech. instead he pulled his mic out of the stand and threw it onto the stage, the high pitched wailing of it short circuiting made ears bleed across the stadium. eren ripped his guitar off of his back and beat it into the ground, angry tears of abandonment and jealousy flowing down his face. “fuck you! fuck you! fuck you!” he screamed into the giant arena, his voice echoing as shards of wood and metal from his fender bounced off the ground. the audience stood and looked on in shock as eren broke down, phones out and recording him, broadcasting his most vulnerable moment to the world. he wishes you were there, you would’ve stopped them. he stumbles to the front of the stage, pulling a bottle of jack from the compartment he kept it hidden in, and took a swig, downing the whole bottle in front of thousands, excess liquor dripping out of his mouth. he stumbled over to where his microphone hit the ground and fell to his knees as he brought it up to his lips. “i hope you’re fucking happy! do you hear me?! i hope you’re happy you fucking bitch! fucking tweet this you motherfuckers! y/n if you’re listening… fuck you…”

*then ensues tantrum in his dressing room shortly after his own security and manager!armin have to carry him off the stage like a baby!*

i am going to tell you this.. i was so obsessed with ur take that i started writing a drabble right.. just a little something.. and now the drabble is 2k words.. so now.. the drabble is gonna actually be a part two. but idk how long the part two is gonna take and i dont want to leave ur genius big brain hanging so im gonna rant some part 2 brain rot below the cut. spoilers for cry baby part 2?? v messy and disorganized i’m just letting words spill.

you work an office job and you're so tired of living in the mundane. especially when your life before your daughter was so riveting.

at times motherhood made you miss the chaotic discourse between you and your ex.

at times you hated that eren got off scot-free from raising a child, not that he could anyway. truthfully it'd take a lot for you to ever bring your daughter near him.

not that you regret having your daughter, you see your little girl as the greatest thing that’s ever happened to you. you just wish you could’ve given her a better life, for the sole reason she doesn’t know her father is because you kept her hidden from him.

its been years and eren hadn't spoke to you since that night and for once you didn't bother to text him. you remembered you spent the week after crying over him, but you soon found out that your overly-emotional and sensitive reactions weren't solely because of heartbreak.

*i am not going too deep into the reader's new bf arc just yet bc i wanna save that sad juicy stuff also maybe its a plot twist idk yet*

the day you took the pregnancy test your heart dropped, never in your life had you been more lost, you were thrown into unforgiving storm with no life jacket. the two little red lines glared at you as tears fell from your eyes in hysteria.

luckily you had him, he wasn't anything to you yet, but he held you while your body shook. "it'll be okay... i don't want to make empty promises but you have me... you do, okay? at least for right now you have me..."

he stayed with you throughout your pregnancy, he wasn't your boyfriend, you weren't sure what he was... but he was there. he rubbed lotion onto the spots of your belly that you couldn't reach, he held his headphones to your tummy so your baby girl could listen to music. he took endless trips to the store at all hours of the night to get you all the weird shit you craved.

but he wasn't your boyfriend. not yet.

it was when you called him screaming that your water broke and you didn't know what to do. you felt so deserted, you thought it was you and your baby girl in the world alone. but over his dead body would he ever let you feel that way.

it was when he sped you to the hospital on less than a quarter tank of gas.

it was when he held your hand and did the breathing excersizes he practiced with you in awkwardly enough- a parenting class together.

that was when he knew he couldn't hold his feelings from you any longer. but would you feel the same way? it had only been nine months since you last saw eren, and he wasn't sure where your feelings lied.

so he tread lightly with you while you raised your daughter, helping only where it was needed.

and then i have a whole messy thought process of how the reader forces herself to encounter eren again for the sake of their daughter. they have to both put their selfish ideologies aside so they can give her a good life.

but new bf wants to come forward with his feelings for you so badly, but seeing you rekindle things with eren holds him back?? omg i just thought of something so sad to add omg. is this shit gonna be three parts.

like they both separately realize that they need each other and the thing that brings them together is their daughter.

and there’s a lot of heartbreak bc new bf vs old bf.

what reader has rn is good but is it fulfilling for her?

omg this!!... rockstar!eren would call back the girl he cheated on you with to make sure you knew where his heart lied, even though eren couldn’t even piece his feelings together himself. he wanted to make you hate him, pushing you away because he knew if he let you in again he’d hurt you unforgivably, choosing his bad habits over you time and time again. the relationship would be forced on his end of course, eren would shower his new girlfriend with gifts, take her on vacations to really niche locations. but everything he does for her, were really all the things that he used to do for you. eren didn’t actually know anything about his new girlfriend, he couldn’t even tell you her middle name. he just turned her into a new version of you, he gave her the diamond necklace, knowing that when her neck was plastered on the tabloids you were sure to see. but every time he looked at her wearing it he wanted to rip it off. eren could write a book of all the reasons you weren’t good for him and vice versa, but he’ll always have a dominant claim on you deep in his heart, whether you liked it or not. you watched as he pathetically tried to love his new girlfriend, a jealousy so strong festering inside of you as he jetted her to where you two spent your anniversaries, posting pictures with her on the coast of italy. she was just another you, and he was trying to recreate what you two had so desperately. every time eren slept with his new girlfriend he saw your face, he swore he hated you, but yet you still infiltrated his mind in his most vulnerable moments. you tried so hard to not let it affect you, but eren was so good at faking happy for the camera, you wondered if he ever thought of you when he kissed her. little did you know, he did.
