It had been a while since the last time they got to go out like this with how busy they both had been, but Minseok wanted to spend time with his girlfriend and had made sure to find the right moment for both. They walked hand in hand across Yeouido Park, the day was getting colder as the minutes went by and there was a smell in the air that announced snow would arrive at any moment. There was something very special about the first snow of the year and he had wanted to share it with Jinnie since they couldn't last year. "Are you okay? Are you cold? We can go get some coffee, if you want." The boy reached to make sure her scarf covered her neck completely. It was important for her to protect her throat and Minseok wouldn't want to see her getting sick with so many things going on.

"I'm going to start working on a comeback as soon as the year begins, and I'm excited and all. But I got used to having free time and doing as he pleased." A grin adorned his feature at the awe in his girlfriend's face, finding it so cute how even the simplest things made her so happy. Jinnie was truly one of the kind and he felt so lucky and honored to be with her. Minseok laughed and blew a kiss to the camera, and then swirled around, making a show for her to film. It was amazing when they could do this, just two people in love in the world, not the idols that everyone knew, but Seok and Jinnie. Giggling, he made his way over to her and grabbed the phone, flipping the camera so it was filming both of them as he kissed her cheek. "The first snowfall of the season, and I'm happy I get to see it with you." He wanted everything with her, he had no doubts.

Then he turned off the camera and wrapped his arms around her waist to pull him close. "Do you know what people say about the first snowfall? If you share it with someone special, it means your love will last forever." With a smile, he leaned in to kiss her softly. "What do you say, Jin? Do you think we will last forever?" He knew they were young and it was probably too soon to think of anything such as forever, but he didn't care. Minseok knew he had met his perfect match in Jinnie, the person he wanted a life with, and he would do anything to make sure she was happy every single day of her life.

" yes, that sounds perfect. we can load up on snacks. there's a ton of vendors. " jinnie agreed with a happy nod. she definitely didn't plan on going back to the braveheart dorm tonight. with their comeback coming up, she knew her time would become limited. so, she wanted to spend as much time with minseok as possible until then. she made a mental note to text a heads up deiji and yoonah when they made it to the night market, unless she wanted her unnies sending out a 'missing person' alert by morning time. " yay. best date ever. " the redhead hummed as she was pulled into her boyfriend's arms. granted, any time spent with him was the best date ever. but a warm hotteok was definitely a perfect way to end the night.

the maknae looked over at minseok with an amused smile. " so coy~ " she giggled softly as they walked down the path. but she was sure she would enjoy anything he released very much. as for the christmas of it all, she didn't plan on pushing offer; jinnie would rather focus on making him smile instead. " okay. " she said easily, squeezing his hand. regardless, she couldn't wait to spend new year's eve with him. the annual fireworks were always one of her favorite events in seoul. small snow flurries began to fall from the sky, pulling jinnie's attention upwards. she gasped at the sight of the first snowfall of the season. the flakes were actually sticking to the ground and suddenly, it really felt like winter. " it's happening ! " she pulled out her phone to record a video, including him in the shot.

It was cute how much his girlfriend loved food, especially hotteoks, and Minseok would do anything to make sure she got exactly what she wanted. "We can go to the night market, baby. Would you like us to get a lot of things to go and take it all to my place?" He could drive over back to the dorms later if she really had to go back. There was no need to plan or pack, considering many of Jinnie's things were already in his apartment, she had her own side of the closet and the bed. It was as much her house as it was his, so he didn't mind if she just decided to go with him. He slept better with her in his arms. "Aww baby, I'll get you all the hotteoks you want, that's a promise." He laughed and kissed her forehead again as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders to pull her closer.

"The only one. You'll like it. It's not what I'm used to, but I actually like it a lot. I was surprised when I was told. Don't worry, baby. It'll be out soon." Well, he hadn't started working on it, until after the holidays, but time flew fast. Warmth filled his whole body at her words, smiling brightly. "I know that. And you're my family." But Minseok didn't see Christmas as the happiest time. It was just a holiday he spent his childhood going to boring parties and pretending to be the perfect family. He liked staying home and just buying himself gifts because he could. "I'll think about it, yeah?" He could at least give it a thought, for her.

" you should be careful too. " jinnie pointed out with an appreciative smile. giggling, she leaned in to give her boyfriend a light kiss as she gently tugged his hat to cover his ears. as much as minseok liked to look out for her, she liked to return the favor tenfold. " definitely food too. i'm already hungry. " jinnie admitted, laughing as the two walked the winding park path. " ooh, isn't that night market in this area ? we should go back ! i haven't stopped thinking about those hotteoks. " with a dreamy sigh, she got lost for a moment in the fond memory of the yummy treat before focusing back on what he was saying.

" something fun, is that the only hint i get ? " the redhead teased lightly, bumping his shoulder with her own. " i think everything you've been putting out is more than enough. but your new solo stuff will be great too, seokie. i know it. " the thought of deiji ripping minseok a new one may have been an amusing one, if jinnie didn't know how factual it could be. unfortunately for her leader, she welcomed her boyfriend's distractions any time and any place. the maknae sighed in content as he kissed her forehead, reaching out to take his hand. she didn't plan on pushing the issue about christmas but she wanted to be clear. " you're my family too. " she said plainly, not even thinking twice about her words. it was the truth. minseok had been one of the dearest people to her for years, far before they even started a relationship. jinnie knew his upbringing wasn't pleasant or filled with the best memories and if she could help make that a little better, she would at least offer. " you don't have to come if you don't want to. " the words were gentle as she looked at him. " — but don't not come because you think you're intruding. you're not, baby. it's an invitation. "

He was still going to worry. It was too cold and perhaps a bit too early to be out like this, but he had wanted to do something special with her. Being on tour had been exhausting, but at least it had given them the chance to see each other every day. Now they texted and called, it was nice, but Minseok missed his girlfriend. "I just want to make sure you're comfortable, baby. It's getting too cold and you should be careful." They both should, considering he would be back in the studio again. But, as always, his girlfriend came first and Minseok would deal with anything else later. Hot chocolate sounded pretty great, yet seeing Jinnie's eyes shining like that made him feel so happy. "Okay, we'll get it later. And Maybe something to eat, too. It's important to keep the stomach full when it's this cold."

The soloist smiled and shrugged playfully. "It's just a single, something fun. But we're also working on a mini album. My team says it's been a while, and my fans are asking for it. I know that I have been doing stuff with Kai and the noonas, but apparently, it's not enough." He got it, though. His Constellations wanted to see more of him as a solo artist, but Minseok had a lot of fun working with others. "Oh, well, I wouldn't be so against finding an empty practice room to meet, but I'm sure Deiji noona would have my ass for distracting you." He laughed and leaned in to press a kiss to her forehead. "I don't know, Jinnie. That's a family thing." He always celebrated Christmas at the very last minute, no plans or anything. Everyone had something to do or places to go, and Minseok didn't mind spending it playing Fornite and eating Chinese food from his favorite place.

it was freezing but the excitement that jinnie felt kept her relatively warm — that and the fact that she was bundled up like a little marshmallow presently. happy as can be, she walked alongside minseok, swinging their arms in between them as the redhead took in the beautiful park. it was nice to just enjoy some quiet time and fresh air with her boyfriend. the end of the year was a bit insane and overwhelming with all that needed to be done, and he'd always been her peace. " i'm okay, baby. " she reassured him, laughing softly as seok began fussing over her. he was so attentive and it was adorable. taking his hands, jinnie squeezed them within her own so that they both could stay warm. " maybe we can find some hot chocolate in a bit but we've gotta see the snow first ! "

her smile widened, eyes lighting up in enthusiasm at his news. " that's so exciting. do you know what the song is going to be yet ? " jinnie already knew she was going to love it and couldn't wait to support. " think about it though. if we're both getting ready for comebacks, that means we'll be at the building way more. it'll be so much easier to see each other. " the redhead pointed out, ever the optimist. " i was hoping i can maybe do a weekend trip back home to see my family for christmas. do you want to come ? everyone would love to see you. even jihoon~ " jinnie joked easily, nudging him. " either way, let's do something for new years ! we could watch the fireworks. "
