OUT. || Matty woke Tom up. And now I have more blogs “awake” than I technically should.

OUT. || I’m about two months away from the twins’ two year anniversary, what the heck??? 

Also, my boys just reached 100 followers. They are without a doubt my slowest-growing muse which I’m 1000% ok with, but it also baffles me. I need to advertise them ( and write on them ) a whole lot more, don’t I?

OUT. || If you’re ever interested in using my lore for a crossover with me, and actually want to put your muse into this universe? I mean??? I would? Cry?

OUT. || Sometimes I think about the fact that it’s technically impossible to tell the twins apart because they are not, in fact, twins, but the same person split in two and that Tom is still pretty good at tracking voices and he and Henry tend to have similar hairstyles because they kind of like looking similar and so at first glance, you might not be able to tell which brother is blind or which brother is sighted and that even their significant others mix them up every once in a while. I think about that and I just giggle because these boys really said “we’re not going to make it easy on you to get close to only one of us without knowing the other.”

OUT. || I just got paid for the first time in like two months after finally starting a new job! And there are Labor Day sales going on.... and my fave sticker shop on etsy was having a pretty good sale.

OUT. || The boys have been loud in my head, btw. Should probably.... should probably do something about that, huh?

OUT. || So the boys are identical in every single way, down to the very last atom, because they are the same body, split, and the same soul, doubled. But if you ever REALLY need to figure out who’s who really quickly, and it isn’t immediately apparent which twin is blind...

just find the one who looks like he was recently beat to shit.

I hope this isn’t to mean but do you have a favourite twin? lol both are so amazing and adorable. I’d love to write with you. I’m just nervous,I’m still new to tumblr rp and your so good at writing! I don’t wanna bring you down!

OUT. || Sorry to be totally boring, but I don’t have a favorite twin, no! They both came to being at the exact same time, and they cannot exist, to me, without the other. There are times when I’m in a mood to write Henry, or Tom, because they have different voices and it’s easier at one time or another to slip into that voice, but I definitely don’t have a favorite.

Henry is a disaster who tries to change what he sees by, literally, fist fighting Fate whenever he can. 

All I’ve done is take two boys and give them anxiety. OOPS.

OUT. || Thank you very much! Just wait until I actually start writing more again! I’m planning on doing a starter/plotting call soon; I just need to do a little bit more worldbuilding, because that’s where my brain’s at right now and I don’t know how successfully I can do IC stuff. Give me a few days back on the boys! 

But omg, thank you so much for the encouragement. The twins are my first ground-up OCs, and to hear that someone likes what I’m doing is really encouraging!

How did you come up with the twins? And their lore?

OUT. || Funny story, but the twins actually came in their most basic idea from one of those “send in an FC and I’ll write an NPC” meme on another of my blogs. They had a different face, and a VERY different story, but I had created the seed of this idea: twins, seers, immortals. That was enough to catch my attention. I couldn’t stop thinking about them! So, at the turn of the new year, 2018 to 2019, I decided I was going to make them a thing. 

As for the lore…. well, that is coming totally from my brain. Like, straight out of my ass, tbh. There are some commonalities in lore — like immortals being invulnerable to harm and stuff like that — that I wanted to challenge and sort of turn on their head… but everything is just my brain. The Forces, the way someone becomes immortal, all of the stuff with the twins… that’s just my brain trying to piece this story together.
