Comet could tell that Mr. Fox was annoyed, and he reflexively cowered when the other loomed over him once more, although thankfully he had pulled those wickedly sharp claws away.

☄️⯮ "I... I'm not saying it's a bad deal at all! It's just... where am I gonna get human organs...??"

The hedgehog whimpered softly now, looking away from the fox.

☄️⯮ "I-I don't wanna hurt anyone..."

He knew he had great capacity to harm someone. With legs that could kick through steel plates, quills sharp as razors, the ability to run faster than any creature or land vehicle on the planet, and the ability to generate vast quantities of 'electricity' when emotionally compromised, the blue-furred alien could be incredibly dangerous if pressed. And that in term made things dangerous for HIM... unless he continued to remain undetected by the local humans.

☄️⯮ "...I do think I need more time to think about it, yes," Comet finally nodded, not looking up at Mr. Fox.

☄️⯮ "O-Oh..."

Comet's nerves had quickly begun to fail him to fail him, even before the fox's wickedly sharp claw had made its way down far too close to his vulnerable stomach. He wanted to run... but he had no idea what Mr. Fox was capable of.

☄️⯮ "Mh-...m-mine...?"

As sick as that declaration made the hedgehog feel, it also made perfect sense; clearly this fox was going to get his offering of organs, one way or another. Swallowing thickly, Comet looked away, seeming to shrink in upon himself.

☄️⯮ "I... I-I don't think I can take this deal. I'm sorry."

He kept his voice as steady as he could... it was a monumental effort for the now thoroughly frightened boy.

It was basically nighttime at this point, and for a hungry alien hedgehog, it was the optimal time to go rummaging through the trash. An interesting cafe (apparently people played video games there!) had some really good food; Comet was hoping he'd be able to find some leftovers in the dumpster. He was so tired of bugs and berries right now.

The hedgehog was wearing a backpack for storing anything edible he could find. He made his way over to the dumpster, moving to climb up into it...

☄️⯮ "But you flew this ship by yourself, didn't ya?" Or perhaps McCoy had meant a different kind of ship, and not the shuttle...

Not much reason to be in a car when you could run faster than one by miles. Comet was definitely familiar with them, though... and they definitely weren't as impressive as the shuttle because they couldn't fly. He might be impressed by an airplane, though.

The sweet and slightly burnt odor of marshmallow hit the boy's nose now, and he perked up as he watched the doctor put the s'more together. It looked delicious!

☄️⯮ "Ooohhh...!"

That tail had started wagging again as Comet accepted the sweet treat, and took a bite. The combination of crispy graham crackers and the sweet, gooey mix of marshmallow and chocolate made something of a mess on the boy's furry muzzle, but he didn't exactly care; the s'more was one of the tastiest things he had ever eaten...!

☄️⯮ "Oh my gosh... this is so good!"

He had devoured it quite quickly, licking his lips and also his fingers afterwards.

☄️⯮ "Thanks!"

☄️⯮ "Wow...! I didn't know humans had vehicles that could go all th'way up into space...! And you know how to fly one?? That's so cool!"

He must've never heard of a rocket before, either; then again, there weren't any spaceports nearby, so it wasn't like he'd ever seen any before. McCoy also had the luxury of manning a significantly smaller spacecraft that didn't need an entire building dedicated to letting it depart and return...

So it wasn't a surprise that the thought of a flying vehicle that could go directly into space was absolutely astounding and intensely cool to the furry teenager.

☄️⯮ "No, I've never even been inside of one before," Comet admitted, now fixated on the marshmallow toasting over the open flame; both ears were perked and hanging on the doctor's every word, however.

It wasn't very often that Comet got to visit Soldan, especially not with regards to him going over to where she lived, rather than the opposite. But still having about twenty of those magic teleportation rings in his drawstring bag, he figured he could spare one for a surprise visit.

The ring had opened up right in the middle of an Ionian marketplace, and Comet jumped through, looking around for his big sister.

It wouldn't do any good to try and pry further; 'family issues' was a good enough answer for Comet. The hedgehog continued to glance at the spikes every now and then, but Kid's next question caught his full attention.

☄️⯮ "My name's Comet, but... how am I familiar, exactly? I've never met you before," he frowned, rubbing the back of his head. The only explanation was that there was another blue hedgehog out there somewhere... right?

Kid gave a nod in reassurance before he carefully found a place to sit down without phasing through the floor. He could dodge just as easily despite the glitching mess he's become. At least this didn't put him in more dire needs...

"It's a long story and I don't want to bore you on why this is happening. Let's just say...family issues caused this."

He leaned back on his palms, sighing past the static. Over ten years he's had to deal with this but it was normally at home with him ending up falling into the basement of all things. So outside this was a bit more of an issue. Kid shook it off before grunting, head tilting as an equally reassuring smile formed.

"Who are you though? You look like a familiar face."

Comet had noticed the small group of strange little beings wandering around the forest for some time now, and eventually he had decided to approach them.

He kept a good distance from the Zok Troopers, watching them curiously and a bit warily.

Nightmare for Comet- Seeing the darkened red sky... flowers everywhere... people in Reclusa's flowers, stuck in their own "perfect" world... and he sees that they start to slowly meet their demise due to starvation, not even noticing the hunger due to the fantasies they were stuck in. The world is ending due to everyone slowly dying thanks to the screen faced creature. Then one of the flowers grabs Comet by the head before the nightmare ends.

It was the sight of the people slowly withering away, too transfixed by the flowers altering their very perception to notice their hunger or thirst, that unsettled Comet the most, more than the blood-red sky and the strange flowers themselves.

☄️⯮ "What the...??"

He had barely turned his head when he noticed something lunging at him from his peripheral, and only about a second to realize that it was one of the flowers. 

He woke up screaming.
