       Micha   had   been   cooped   in   their   shared   room,   having   been   𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘶𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘥   with   preperation   for   his   own   fancy   dress   outfit.   These   types   of   celebrations   were   𝙛𝙖𝙧   and   few   inbetween,   in   line   with   the   stringent   rules   set   by   the   Grand   Diviner   himself-   otherworldly   pleasures   were   𝗻𝗼𝘁   welcome   in   Violet   Crystal.   As   such,   when   the   opportunity   reared   its   𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘥   face,   Micha   seized   it   with   fondness.

❝   Hold   on   a   sec,   ❞   the   young   Dutch   man   muttered,   busy   adjusting   his   appearance   with   𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚   makeup   and   facepaint.   Though,   nothing   could   𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲   him   for   what   he   turned   to   see.   Silas,   stood   with   his   hands   on   his   hips   in   an   inflatable   extra-terrestrial   outfit   which   was   indeed   as   comical   as   it   sounded   in   concept.   What   was   usually   an   incredibly   articulate   individual   was   now   dressed   in   the   most   unfitting   ❛   𝘧𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘺   𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴   ❜   attire   one   could   imagine.

Unable   to   hold   back   his   amusement,   Micha   𝗯𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘁   out   in   a   fit   of   contagious   laughter.   ❝   I-   I   think   it's   great!   You're   definitely   gonna   be   turning   heads,   I'll   tell   you   that.   ❞   He   grinned,   imagining   his   leader's   𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡   confident   stride   whilst   looking   like   a   man   being   kidnapped   by   an   alien,   of   all   things.   

If   one   thing   were   true,   it   were   that   Silas   was   𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡   of   surprises.

‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ㅤ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ㅤ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ㅤ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ㅤ"Proud..?" He echoed, as if completely unfamiliar with the word. It had been a matter of years since he'd heard PROUD and YOU in the same sentence, never mind by someone he admired and doted on so dearly. The praise stroked whatever was left of his self-esteem and he managed an awkward smile. It was unlike him to be so easily pleased by such a passing compliment.

It was true this kind of compliment didn't come often, so he believed it. "Thank you-... really! I think I needed to hear that today." Micha muttered, admittedly finding the sentiment a little bit emotional, he had been trying unbelievably hard and was relieved that it didn't go unnoticed. “I want to make you proud, Leader Silas.” He added, trying to get affirmation that his efforts were not in vain. It felt like such an honour to be at the receiving end of Silas' praise.

Avoidant   was   a   useful   word   when   it   came   to   gauging   Micha's   peculiar   reaction   to   the   question.   For   a   moment   there   was   a   look   in   his   eyes   that   wore   𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙁𝙐𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉   and   sadness   simultaneously,   though   he   clung   onto   the   remaining   shreds   of   his   own   self-control   and   shook   his   head.

❝   I   don't   think   so...   ❞   though   the   answer   was   𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘥   with   uncertainty.   In   the   silence   following,   he'd   ponder   the   reason   for   someone   to   𝗣𝗥𝗬   on   his   conscience   this   way.   Truth   be   told,   however,   Micha   𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵   the   best   at   reading   social   situations   and   he   found   it   difficult   to   decipher   if   this   came   from   a   place   of   𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻   or   an   attempt   at   friendliness.

🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying? Yes, Micha is an unfathomably good liar. He doesn't take pride in being good at lying, but he is, and he uses it to his advantage at times. Growing up interested in theater/performing means he's a fairly good actor, so knows how to play it well. It would vary depending on who he's lying to, but especially to a partner he would struggle with it if it directly related to them and their relationship- often fiddling with his bracelet or playing with his earring. Outside of that, the signs are very hard to decipher and are almost nonexistent. 😨 FEARFUL - when scared, do they go into "flight" or "fight"? Flight. Micha hates it, but he always goes into "flight" when he's scared. He loses all sense of his physical defense and lets his guard down. He gets emotional, sensitive and will quite literally physically hide and isolate himself.

🥞 PANCAKE - what is their comfort breakfast? He LOVES a traditional Dutch breakfast. As a result, he's not very picky as Dutch breakfasts aren't anything super 'out there', so anything such as bread with spreads like chocolate-hazelnut spread or chocolate sprinkles on bread. Something sweet for the most part!

🍩 DONUT - favourite sweet treat? His favourite sweet treat is probably cookies, specifically speculaas. Anything that is remotely flavoured like it wins him over, easy-peasy. Speculaas ice cream has to be one of his favourites of all.

🙈 SEE-NO-EVIL - whats a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people? He is incredibly jealous. Out of all of the seven deadly sins, I would say that envy probably resonates with him the most. He can get conniving and downright nasty if provoked enough and can and will act out. Though not physically violent, he has the propensity to be emotionally or socially manipulative or lie to get his own way. It also makes him very quiet, and visibly disturbed, like a switch has been flipped?

🙊 SPEAK-NO-EVIL - what is something your oc will refuse to stay quiet about? He hates it when people senselessly harm nature, flora and fauna alike. The destruction of it boils his blood and has always been very vocal about it. Those who take away sites of natural beauty for personal advantage are, to him, the most heartless of all. Cruelty to animals is something he is especially passionate about, he will fiercely defend those who cannot stand up for themselves.

🙉 HEAR-NO-EVIL - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone? I think one of the worst things he could hear is probably "you're not trying hard enough", Micha wants to feel like he's trying his best, which he is. He's trying very, very hard. To know that he isn't trying at all or not hard enough would most assuredly break him.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ“I’ve been trying to ‘find myself’ for years and I still haven’t found a fucking thing.” He exhaled in amusement, the notion of such a thing he’d always found so incredibly ridiculous. There was truth behind the sentiment of ‘finding yourself’, though he’d never been able to sympathise with it. Micha had been searching for as long as he could remember to absolutely no avail, he hadn’t found himself in the twenty-eight years he’d been on this Earth.

“So, yeah. We do choose, don’t we? Just like how every one of my miserable decisions made me who I am.” Shrugging, he took a drink out of a glass full of some kind of questionable substance. Looking at the contents of his cup, he pondered if the inebriation swayed his answer.
