It's as she walks into the open space of the living room that the door of the bathroom opens and her roommate steps out. Naked. "Oh! I'm sorry!" i  saw  a  post  on  my  instagram  feed  and  it  got  me  like  !!!!!  yes  yes,  sonny  munroe  is  an  underrated  disney  channel  character  and  i  will  stand  by  that.  miley  stewart  and  alex  russo  are  obviously  iconic  babies,  but  sonny  gets  overlooked  at.  she's  one  of  the  sweetest  characters  out  there,  and  because  she  is  disneyfied,  it  overshadows  how  much  sonny  has  people  pleasing  tendencies.  how  everyone  around  her  continues  taking  pieces  of  her  to  bring  themselves  up  while  she  remains  beneath  everyone.  like  yes,  she  entered  hollywood  to  be  on  her  favorite  tv  show,  but  it  also  shows  how  much  hollywood  can  affect  somebody  who  didn't  grow  up  in  that  world.  she  isn't  allowed  to  be  herself.  and  when  she  is,  she's  brought  down  and  is  forced  to  reel  everything  back.  it  also  means  trying  to  make  sure  everyone  is  happy  while  ignoring  her  own  needs.  however,  sonny  still  tries  to  remain  true  to  herself  as  much  as  she  could.  even  if  means  10%.  she  doesn't  fully  lose  herself,  but  a  lot  of  it  slips  away.

It hadn’t been so long ago that Thera would have been the one pointing a blaster at him. Would have fired, too, square between his eyes, if he hadn’t had the sense - or the cowardice - to send Rex to make first contact in his stead.
