i don't know why i never grew up, and it's mortifying. why am i so irresponsible?

marlene wants to always be the life of the party, making others happy while keeping anything serious away from her little bubble. in a way, she was determined to focus on the moment rather than the big picture. slowly the energetic and impulsive child, grew into a woman that was a force to be reckoned with. she was energetic, unpredictable, and completely untouchable by the troubles of this world. 

marlene is in a lil bit of denial rn. like understanding she can't be complacent, but also not wanting to be involved at the same time. she's on the fringes of it because her entire family and most of her friends are part of the order so she's not neutral and is helping the order out when she can, but she’s worried about her family getting caught in something they aren’t ready for.

marlene operates under the life motto "i'm here for a good time, not a long time"

at one point wanted to become a magizoologist if playing quidditch professionally didn't work out, but thankfully for all the poor animals her dream did come true, and she satisfies her love of creatures through the pets she has.

fully expected to be put into ravenclaw because let's face it, there's no one more clever than she is ( total lies ).

adores her family, but has always felt like her path was very different from theirs or that she was letting them down in some way. both of her brothers followed in their father's footsteps while she's out here doing her own thing.

takes polaroids of friends at very inopportune moments just for the memories, but fully threatens her friends ( jokingly ) that she'll release them.

has two ferrets named cherrie and chewie that she absolutely adores and would do anything for. she regularly brings them out for adventures with her. she poorly knits them little hats and sweaters.

has had her grumpy old cat apollo since her first year at hogwarts. her previous cat had just died the summer before she was going to go and she insisted she had to have an animal or she'd be made fun of. so her mother got her a kitten. and he was always the same grumpy old man he is now even then.
