araceli’s japanese voice claim is yukari tamura, most notably with her voice for rika furude-- or at least, her true personality. the childish voice is how she sounded when she was a child. ( an example using both voices in the same scene. ) 

her english voice claim is christina vee, most notably her voice for homura akemi. ( two examples, though they’re pretty spoilery for the rebellion story. oops. )

okay here’s a quick timeline  of araceli’s heroes verse because like, yeah. it got way more extensive than i anticipated thanks to plotting and whatnot!

> fates ends. anankos is slain, the time loop is broken. araceli, kaito, and aqua are free from the cycles. 

> the issue of valla is brought up. araceli, in a panic and wanting to protect her twin brother, her cousin, and their freedom and happiness, insists on taking the throne herself. 

> she closes herself off for a few days, and is summoned before kaito and aqua can talk some sense into her and coax her into the three-way system as far as ruling valla goes.

> however, she is summoned by veronica and thus under embla’s contract. 

> the contract is broken, but like xander and a few others, araceli chooses to remain behind because she could sense how lonely veronica was and ended up being reminded of growing up alone with kaito in the northern fortress. she does not approve of veronica’s aggression against askr, however, and will not deny it should the princess ask her. yet, she stays anyways.

> she becomes more of a caretaker and older sister figure to veronica than a combatant in her forces, but primarily uses her dragonstone when combat is necessary on her part, given the niche draconic fighters can fill compared to a full army of swordspeople. she does still have the yato, however.

> loki appears, manipulating veronica into helping her allow surtr access to zenith. araceli is distrustful, but cannot convince veronica to stop. 

> surtr enters zenith and book two begins. when veronica stands up to surtr and tries to defend the askrian villagers, surtr essentially imprisons her in her own castle for daring to run her mouth. araceli remains with her for the princess’ protection, and ensures veronica is never left alone just in case.

> summoner ingrid witnessed part of veronica’s stand against surtr, and grew worried for the princess’ safety. she sends feh to spy on embla castle, where araceli discovers and hides the owl from the emblian guards. she begins a correspondence with ingrid, slowly working out a plan to smuggle veronica out of embla and into the order of heroes’ protection, getting the rest of the heroes under embla’s banner to cooperate. meanwhile, ingrid summons kaito shortly before the plan is put into motion.

> the plan goes off without a hitch... until bruno’s untimely appearance, and with araceli’s cover blown ( and veronica’s disappearance discovered faster than planned ), she and the prince make a break for it. araceli fights primarily in her draconic form to clear a path, but sustains heavy injuries in the escape, and faints well before bruno can regroup with ingrid. 

> araceli awakes in the order’s infirmary and joyfully reunites with kaito.

> at first, once she is fit to walk around, she is rather closed off and prefers to attend to whatever it is veronica needs-- though if the princess is already being assisted by someone else, she will try to make herself useful in another way. it is around now that she begins to open up. any and all heroes based threads, unless plotted otherwise, will take place from here. 

> around the previous point’s time she meets, befriends, and falls in love with ephraim, eventually agreeing to return with him to renais. in the case where she is presumed single in heroes verse, she will decide to stay in askr after the war ends.

i’ve been craving one lately so have an info dump for a harry potter au

araceli is a half-blood witch. anankos is from a highly distinguished, old pureblood family (one of the oldest, in fact--) and mikoto was a muggle with a  witch in her family several generations prior-- in fact, her sister arete is a witch herself, which is likely how anankos and mikoto met and fell in love to begin with.

she is raised in london. anankos holds a high ranking position in the ministry of magic, mikoto... i believe will be a teacher for a secondary school. or something. i suppose what mikoto’s up to isn’t super important if she’s a muggle. anankos’ half of the family isn’t too pleased with him for marrying a muggle, and the stress of the fallout weighs a little heavily on him. lilith is her younger sister by two years. 

sorted into gryffindor, and shares her dorm with at least azura, assuming azura is a fellow gryffindor. ( the other three in the dorm could be other female lords or important characters, like lucina, celica, or eirika. felicia and flora will also join her if they’re in gryffindor, too. )

her wand is made of red oak, and contains a unicorn tail hair. it’s around 12 1/4 inches long, and rather unbending. ( i took the pottermore quiz for this one tbh. ... the sorting too, i just couldn’t decide. ) 

she is unsure of what she wants to do with her life, though is considering a career in either the ministry of magic or magical education. in particular, she’s talented with charms, care of magical creatures, and transfiguration, but isn’t very good at potions. she actually enjoys history of magic... though not with binns teaching it. she could read the books for hours, though. offers to tutor her friends should they need it.

she is, however, a very talented flier and assuming it’s possible, would try out for the quidditch team and hopefully find herself in the position of chaser.

i was thinking about it a bit today and as much as araceli wants to deny it, she does have preferences within the hoshidan and nohrian royal famiies-- at least, towards the older princes and princesses.

 she tends to gravitate more towards ryouma than xander, given the original timeline was birthright and those first memories of xander angrily and immediately calling her a traitor and not even hearing her out ( and later, his death ) are still ever present in her mind-- ryouma, as equally bad as his reaction was when the shoe was on the other foot, at least still somewhat believed in her-- assumed that she was bewitched or too afraid to turn away from nohr, and was even willing to negotiate when elise fell ill. 

she gravitates towards camilla over hinoka, if only because camilla will seek her out herself and is just so good at reading her that it feels more natural to go to camilla with a problem than hinoka-- hinoka’s still a wonderful help, of course, but her problem solving deals with the practical rather than the emotional. ( she’s also noticed the strain on hinoka’s and takumi’s relationship, and guilt over being the cause keeps her a little distant. ) also i haven’t had the chance to interact much with hinoka and i’m sad because i wANT TO BUT YKNOW...........

as far as elise, leo, takumi, and sakura go, they’re all younger than her and therefore all equally precious. 

she will never speak a word of this out loud, however, fearing the reactions she would get after claiming neutrality-- and such reactions would only fuel the belief that her beloved family sees her as nothing more than some shiny object to own and fight over.

ive been thinking about it all day so have a xenoblade chronicles x au headcanon dump

anankos was one of the officials of the earthlife colonization project, securing mikoto, kaito, araceli, and lilith spots on the white whale-- unlike maurice chausson, he couldn’t bear the thought of his family being left to burn on earth. that said, he gave up his own salvation to ensure theirs and remained behind when the arks departed, dying alongside the earth.

upon her lifepod being discovered and araceli being brought back to new los angeles, she decided to join blade after learning of her father’s sacrifice. she wanted to repay him for saving their lives and contribute to humanity’s future as best as she could, so working for blade seemed like the logical conclusion.

despite disliking fighting, araceli decided to join the harriers division, as she noticed how in badly need they were of recruits. when she’s not called on assignment or helping other members of blade on their own assignments, araceli tends to assist the mediators resolving problems around the city. 

as a playable character, cross would be able to recruit her in the residential district near the tennis court, resolving a problem between two humans. after chapter 5, the humans will change and become a nopon and a ma-non, then after chapter 9 she will move to the administrative district near the harrier’s sector of division drive.

her class is an alternative galactic knight, using dual guns and the photon saber in combat. initially, araceli used a photon saber made by grenada galactic group, but soon picked up one made by six stars once the wrothians allied with humanity and hasn’t looked back. her dual guns are made by candid & credible.

her art palette consists of astral horizon, starfall blossom, starfall rondo, galactic cataclysm, early bird, ghostwalker, primer, and sliding slinger.

araceli has a skell license, being a harrier, and operates a lailah model. she is among the first to have her skell outfitted with the flight module when lin finally completes it, and occasionally goes on a flight when she needs to clear her head. the skell’s name is the yato no kami, commonly shortened to the yato.

her biggest wish is to reunite with her remaining family, and often keeps tabs on the reclaimers’ progress on locating the lifehold. kaito and lilith may potentially be rescued, but until the lifehold is found, mikoto is missing.

headcanon time!

out of the hoshidan siblings, takumi is the one araceli trusts the most– purely because of his initial dislike of her. sakura is a close second. she understands ryoma and hinoka actually remember her from their childhood, but, while takumi might have too, he didn’t bother hiding his wariness and sakura was meeting her for, essentially, the first time. the fact that they don’t simply fawn over her like the older siblings and the nohrians is refreshing. takumi’s judgement is one she always takes into consideration– sometimes, over ryoma and xander, depending on the situation.

… and she feels like she deserves his skepticism and dislike anyways but that’s another story.

also twinverse araceli gets??? a much happier ending ?????? than when she’s not a twin?? bonnie and i were talkin about it last night and she’s so much happier when her sibling take’s valla’s throne rather than her-- miyu in particular notices the fear in araceli’s eyes at the thought of ruling and restoring this dead kingdom and immediately offers to do it and i think that’s beautiful.....................

she still resides in valla with her spouse should she have one (or will do whatever they wish to do), and acts as an advisor to her sibling instead.

i’m working on those starters now but can i just think about how unnerving araceli’s shift in personality must be to jakob, felicia, gunter, flora, and the nohrian siblings? (other corrins and custom mus too, ofc, given... the potential of twin aus... and the fact that i default to them... aha...) 

in the original timeline araceli was a very cheerful, bubbly young woman who yearned to see the world and was beyond excited to finally get the chance to do so. siding with hoshido very clearly broke her heart, but she managed to hold her head high, accept the consequences of her decision, and keep on smiling. it got a little more difficult after the incident with the wolfskin and reaching castle krakenburg, but still.

now she’s quiet. withdrawn. clearly depressed, and a heck of a lot more timid than she used to be. has a strange knack for predicting the future she very clearly didn’t have before. (except in revelations, because revelations is the final timeline and only happens once.) the hoshidans might not think anything is wrong, and in silas’ eyes it’s been a very long time since they’ve seen each other. people change. but team nohrian fortress and the siblings have been around literally forever-- they can tell. and from their perspective it’s like a switch was flipped suddenly with absolutely no clear reason for it. she was smiling just yesterday, why did araceli’s personality suddenly do a 180?

Araceli was/is part of a junior critics program in her city's district. She and a large group of other students would attend several of the school plays throughout every high school in the city, and write reviews for them once the actual play season started. These reviews would then be published in the local paper, and at the end of the year there would be an awards show much like the tony's in which all those involved in each production and the critics would win attend. Some schools, those in the running for best play most notably, would perform excerpts from each one in between the awards.

incidentally i’d like to lowkey detail araceli’s echoes verse while we’re all talking about lukas’ beautiful voice--

after passing through the outrealm gate (with a retainer in tow, or entirely alone-- who knows? this can depend on the thread!) araceli finds herself in valentia, and with no way back. confused and concerned, the princess stumbles upon zofia castle shortly after the deliverance frees the castle. hoping travelling with either alm or celica will bring the answers she seeks, araceli can be recruited by either party and will join them on their respective routes. she does not mention that she is royalty, reveling in the opportunity to be treated like just another woman... who can turn into a dragon. she is worried about the state of things back home, and would like to return as quickly as possible... but she resolves to focus on the task at hand until a way presents itself.

that said, i will default to alm’s route!

how does heroes!araceli feel about being in askr? is she relieved about it, since the cycle she's trapped in can't continue if she's in askr?

Actually, Heroes!Araceli is pulled from post-Revelations! The cycle is already broken and Anankos is dead by the time she’s brought to Askr, but she can’t help feeling rather anxious about being there all the same– Peace between Hoshido and Nohr is only still in its infancy and she doesn’t like not being there to make sure everything is going well between Xander and Ryoma, she’s due for a coronation as Queen of Valla that she really does not want upon returning home, and that’s not even taking into account the post-partum depression? (I’m not sure if that’s the word for what she’s feeling exactly, but it’s the closest feeling to it.) 

She’s been trapped in that loop for a very, very long time; Adjusting to the fact that life will indeed go on and she’ll never have to live through the war again is already hard enough on its own, without Askr’s involvement. She doesn’t miss it, no– Far from it. Azura is alive this time. None of her siblings died– She’s done it. At long last, and above all odds, she has saved everyone just like she’s always wanted… Except Izana and Scarlet. but it’s an adjustment and healing process that will take a very long time. 

That said having something to focus on and take her mind off her own thoughts, is a very welcome change of pace. She doesn’t mind being in Askr despite that sense of anxiousness and is very fond of her Summoner, whoever they might be. The opportunity to meet otherworldly Heroes is something she appreciates as well, having been raised in isolation with only her staff and siblings visits to look forward to, then the same cycle of meeting the same people over and over and over again. So basically… She takes it well, but she’s still. Y’know. Very affected by the ordeal she’s been put through.

An Araceli pulled before Anankos’ death, however, is very nervous and agitated about being in Askr. She hates it. She does not want to be there at all– She’s scared time will run out and the loop will reset, she’s scared of any chaos she might be leaving behind in her own world with tensions between the two armies still being kind of high, she’s worried about Azura and her health, she’s afraid of running into Birthright!Nohrians and Conquest!Hoshidans, and just– It’s really, really not a good time for her. That said, she doesn’t want to be a burden and hides these feelings so that the Summoner doesn’t feel bad for having pulled her away when they have no control over who they call.
