rereading catching fire really made me realize that peeta gets no comfort from anyone after the games. he's all alone in a new big house , he spends his days painting what he remembers of the games , has nightmares that keeps him from sleeping and he's just alone. then when he finally makes up with katniss he's comforting her a lot ; which of course gives him comfort but pls! when is someone going to hold him and tell him it's going to be okay ???

i just finished rereading the first book and I'm distraught over peeta. he's so in love with katniss , and when he finds out everything she did was for survival and not out of love like it was for him. ... UGH heartbroken ! as much as it hurt him , he doesn't blame her in the end. instead he thinks he's dumb for not realizing it sooner.
