i really cannot wait to publish my fantasy book because i really wanna be the author that brings back good ass dystopian/fantasy type shit. but this time do it for BLACK WOMEN. we never ever get big movies where we get to fall for the vampire, the witch, the mermaid, the prince, the werewolf. we’re always side characters or the improper best friend. i wanna make little black girls feel accepted. let them know they can be just like bella from twilight. that they can survive in maze runner. that they can be divergent. that they can enter another world and fight monsters like mortal instruments. that they can fall in love with the beast. all while being the MAIN CHARACTER. really can’t wait.
