I think an important distinction to make is that while his arm has a fantastic many uses , one thing it cannot do is touch. It can reach out and grab and hold an object , it can relay to Bucky the temperature of a thing or of a person , but it cannot touch in the way we know skin to skin touch. It can tell him if the person he’s touched has a fever , but it can’t relay to him the specific softness of a lover’s hair , the coarseness of a handshake , or that particular stickiness of a child’s hand - and various other tactile specifics. Moreover , when it comes to more intimate things like sex / love making ( especially ) , his arm becomes more like a functional thing on account of this issue with more refined touch. His arm becomes something used to suspend , hold , prop , etc.

It does become a part of intimate touch in the sense that he does kiss with both hands and holding another person's face , he hugs with both arms , he has been known to shake hands with the left if the other person offers their left hand first. i just want to reiterate that peter has a personality outside of his job that is simultaneously vast, yet quite normal. from a child, it is canon that peter loved trains -- he even studied mechanics at university when he was 18, before dropping out because he realised it had nothing to do with trains.

𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄 • ─ the uniform's flexible and not your traditional jedi gown, though it might take inspiration from it. despite looking inpractical, cal chooses not to show much skin on purpose and mainly for protection reasons. however, the layers are thin and covered with loose fabrics around his joints to work AGAINST contrainments in his movements. when it comes to the colours of his wardrobe, they are simple and somewhat earthy, attracting attention through his clothes is not part of his agenda.

𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 • ─ cal's lightsaber's primary material is 'silver alloy', secondary is 'ancient alloy', it's darker and more dull in shade and has a few natural waves winding through it. accents are worked in with the metal 'two-tone dark' and the grip's material is 'gorraslug leather'. he wields it double-bladed and with a blue kyber crystal. cal has built his own lightsaber from parts of his old masters' lightsabers, aside from the grip, which is the model 'serenity'. ermitters are jaro tapal's, the switches used to belong to cere junda and the pommel, which connects the blades is from eno cordova. due to the 'serenity' grip, the crystal's light comes through the sword EVEN when it's not activated.

𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐒 • ─ at the age of thirteen, cal and his master were attacked by the grand army of the republic under the command of order 66, while attempting to escape ─ one of the clone troopers aims at cal with their blaster. the bolt grazes his neck, with the adrenaline pumping through him though, he barely notices it. there are OTHER SCARS on his nose, lower lip and right eyebrow but those are simply the results of fights and his work on bracca.

𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 & 𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐍'𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌 • ─ the blaster is made of the same materials as the lightsaber and in the same order, except for the grip which is made out of silver alloy, again. in the later events of 'survivor', merrin gifts cal a charm, a magical item which allows him to teleport through and use her portals (could possibly be sensed by other strong magic users) it's also a neat trinket.

𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒 • ─ cal is covered in freckles (more on the upper body and less on the lower parts). his skin is sensitive to the sun, so before you let him go out in this shirt, remind him to put on sunscreen. a tattoo can be found on his lower right arm, which is more of a branding THAN ink he got voluntarily. he received it while working on bracca (a junkyard planet) and it's made for identifying him in case ─ a tragic accident happens. to provide information on his assigned place, deductions, general profile, etc. he's not working there anymore but doesn't really care about removing it.

[ Sexuality / romance hc stuff:

-This is basically said in canon but Joe's so-called love is quite always just an intense and obsessive infatuation with someone. I personally do not think Joe even knows how to identify actual love nor has experienced it. He wants what he's read in books or seen in movies, those are the types of worlds he'd escape to as a kid, but reality is just not that. People and relationships are not like that. And when reality finally clicks after he's been obsessing for a while and is exposed to the other's flaws, he will lose interest and move on to try and find that "right" person that doesn't exist.

-Joe very much has an anxious/disorganized attachment style which is also a part of the reason why all of the above tends to occur.

-I view Joe as a bisexual man, but he hasn't explored his sexuality very much in the way of masculine individuals. With them, Joe is much more on guard due to having a lot of trauma surrounding men. And though he has trauma with women too because of his mother's abandonment, it's much more of a yearning for something that's lost when it comes to women. With men it feels like it's a competition most of the time or that they're constantly judging him.

-That being said his type with women is basically the same as with men. Smart and usually charismatic, not full of themselves, preferably with a little trauma sprinkled in so he can feel like he's swooping in to "save" them. ]
