"GAAAABE!!!!" Gabriel was clearly excited, bouncing on his toes with the biggest smile before he reached forward to take his hand, eagerly tugging him towards their dining room. "Happy birthday!!!! You gotta make a wish and blow out the candles." Before him sat a rather large cake with a fair amount of frosting on it, all the candles in the center giving off a pleasant glow

COULD  HIS  ROOMMATE  POSSIBLY  BE  ANY  SWEETER  ?  Every  time  Gabriel  thought  they  reached  the  tip  of  the  iceberg,  the  other  proved  him  wrong.  A  smile  graces  his  features  the  moment  the  other  took  his  hand  in  his  own,  tugging  him  along  into  their  dining  room.  SMILE  ONLY  BRIGHTENS  at  the  sight  of  the  large  birthday  cake,  decorated  with  frosting  and  candles,  that  greets  him.  ❝ Thanks  Gaby,  y’really  know  how  t’  make  a  guy  feel  SPECIAL.  The  cake  looks  amazin'. ❞  A  chuckle  escapes  the  ex-soldier  as  he  closes  his  eyes  to  blow  out  his  candles  and  make  a  wish,  long  eyelashes  TICKLING  his  cheek bones.  This  surprise  was  already  more  than  he  wished  for  today.

Congratulations! She baked him a birthday cake. Strawberry flavored with buttercream frosting, made from scratch and all natural ingredients. It's sitting on his kitchen counter to greet him when he comes home even if... well, there's the dirty bowl in his sink and a napping shapeshifter on his sofa.
