Snapshot 5: Some Days (Aizawa)

a/n: nowhere to go but here. summary: the days aizawa comes home to you. cw: smut implications. no gendered pronouns used. gn!reader. wc: 240.

Whenever Aizawa makes it home from a hard patrol or a difficult day at school, when he’s covered in dirt and oil and grease or grass and chalk and ink, sometimes all he wants to do is collapse on your shared bed, no shower, no clothing change, nothing.  Just lay there until he is one with the soft blankets.  

Other days, he comes home dirty and he reaches for you, grabs for your wrist, your neck, your thighs, pulls you into the bathroom and under the shower-head where he kisses your skin, fucks you slowly and longingly, shivering under the way your lips trace his scars.  

There are other days still where he can’t wait to get home for a different reason, where he’s hot and heavy and he needs to unload, both off his shoulders and inside of you.  On those days he can’t get enough of you, can’t seem to stop breathing you in, can’t stop rutting into you even as you’ve already come undone two, four, six times, can’t seem to stop even though he’s overstimulated and burning himself—but god, just one look at you and he just wants you all over again, one whiff of you and he’s intoxicated and dizzy, and one breath of you and all he wants to is to hear and feel you muffle your cries into his shoulder, his neck, until all that’s left is spent gasps and heaving flesh.

When the video is posted, fans flock to it, flooding the comments with love for how goofy, fun, and relatable Bastard München is.

The support pours in across social media, and you can’t help but feel a warm pride at how it all turned out. Your role as the audience’s eyes and ears seems to have struck a chord, with fans calling your presence refreshing and authentic.

Raichi earns the affectionate title of "boyfailure" from fans, who find his antics both chaotic and endearing. They jokingly thank you for covering the camera when he went topless but not-so-subtly request sweaty, shirtless Isagi and Yukimiya footage for future content.

Others requested a cooking video featuring Gagamaru.

As for the dribbling drills, fans can’t stop talking about how intimate it looked, many calling you “lucky” to have a one-on-one crash course with a pro like Hiori.

Of course, Coach Noa’s commanding presence sparks its own wave of thirsty comments, with people shamelessly asking if he’s single or available for marriage.

But it’s the next video that Bastard München’s social media posts that truly shocks you — and the entire internet.

What starts as a harmless blooper reel quickly spirals into something else entirely. The video opens with Sachs chasing a topless Raichi around the field. Gagamaru serves potstickers in the kitchen with motherly precision.

Ness is spotted studying, his room neat as a pin. Isagi, Kurona, and Kunigami run laps, their shirts sticking to their backs as they sweat under the sun. Coach Noa looms broodingly in the background, observing the team’s drills with laser focus.

Then, the clips shift. There’s Hiori teaching you during the dribbling drills, his tone soft and encouraging. You laugh awkwardly as you try to trap the ball, missing it ungracefully, but his quiet smile in the background makes the moment feel oddly tender.

The next clip shows the two of you sitting on the field after practice, grass sticking to your clothes, both of you sweaty and tired. Hiori’s holding up his phone, showing you his Monster Hunter Now account, and your faces are so close it’s a miracle neither of you noticed.

Your laughter mixes with his, light and unguarded, and the camera captures it all as if the world had briefly fallen away, leaving just the two of you.

And then the video moves on, but your mind doesn’t. Your heart races, pounding in your chest so loudly that the rest of the reel becomes background noise.

Before you can process what you’ve just seen, your phone buzzes with a Winstagram notification:

Your throat dries up. Hesitant, you click it open.

Bastard München’s story is a series of candid snapshots from the day, each one highlighting a different player. But then you see it — the photo that makes your stomach flip.

It’s a candid shot of you and Hiori sitting on the field. He’s looking at you, his expression soft, his eyes carrying something unspoken that makes your cheeks burn. You’re gazing off into the distance, a gentle smile on your lips, completely oblivious to the moment.

The text on the image reads: When the game ends, but the chemistry continues.

Your breath hitches. Your heart feels like it’s trying to beat its way out of your chest, and a flood of emotions crashes over you — embarrassment, disbelief, and something fluttery and warm that you can’t quite name.

It doesn’t take long for your colleagues and editor to blow up your phone, their messages ranging from teasing to outright gossiping.

Amid the chaos, a new notification pops up: a direct message from hiori_yo23.

You stare at the screen, your lips curving into an involuntary smile. He doesn’t seem the least bit fazed by the uproar that photo will undoubtedly cause in the coming hours — or days.

For a moment, you forget about the world outside and type your reply:

TK makes a questioning noise before motioning mid-shimmy to the screen on the car’s console. “Muñekita. That’s what your mom calls me.”

It startles a horrified laugh out of him. “Not in this context.”

TK stops dancing and waits for a beat, an expectant look on his face, before huffing impatiently. “Well, aren’t you gonna tell me what she’s saying?”

“Nope,” He feels his face go red at the thought. “Babe, these lyrics are filthy.”

A dangerous smile crosses TK’s face and Carlos already knows where his mind has gone before he even opens his mouth.

It’s joyful and wild, the unbridled energy that first drew him to TK and kept him coming back again and again in search of more of that color and spark that exudes from this man, for another glimpse of the smile that lit up Carlos’s world so vibrantly from the first night they met.

His husband’s joy and his wild heart, his laughter and his sweetness. They’re as precious to him as the sun, and he’s vowed again and again to cherish and nurture them, no matter what life throws their way.

I present a list of 10 Spuffy fics I’ve read mostly in December, but because I couldn’t get much reading done last month (and thus I had no recs) I decided to make this one a double. They’re all complete, all recent, and all links are for Sunnydale After Dark. Fics marked with the 🎁 emoji were written for SAD’s SADvent Calendar 2024. (NOTE: some or all may be available on other archives as well).

(2024) Baby, it’s cold outside by Julikobold [G] 🎁 one shot

Summary: Buffy and Spike go sledding. But before they can ride down the hill they need to go up. In snow. Buffy is not amused.

Review: Get ready to cozy up with Buffy and Spike as they hike through a magical snowed land. A romantic winter holiday with a side of playful banter.

(2024) SantaCon Comes to Town by bruskiboo [PG-13] 🎁 one shot

Summary: Dawn is finally getting Buffy to take a vacation, to the Big Apple! With Spike and Buffy happily together, a new license showing she is of legal age, and a whole itinerary of holiday fun and festive drinking planned, what could go wrong??

Review: Enjoy some fun shenanigans in this lovely holiday fic. I loved seeing Spuffy in their settled relationship through Dawn’s POV and learning about an actual event of which I had never heard of. Our heroes even had to “slay” an unexpected baddie in a very festive way!

(2024) First and Last by kcchameleon [R] one shot

Summary:“It felt like ages that they stood, the whole room between them, eyes locked in a way that felt more intimate than anything he’d experienced before in all his years, living and dead.” Buffy and Spike spend one last night, before the battle that would change everything, in each other’s arms.

Review: A delightful take on Chosen’s fade-to-black scene that left us all guessing what happened next. Guess no more: here’a an answer you’re sure to enjoy!

(2024) All We’ve Ever Done by Claire [G] 🎁 art: comic style

Summary: It’s all they’ve ever done. Moved with each other. Fallen into rhythm. She’s denied it, but what if Buffy was ready to stop dancing around the truth and be swayed by what her heart already knows: that the man who shows up for her without missing a beat could be the man of her dreams? Spike’s never needed an invitation; he’ll follow anywhere she leads.

Review: This is particularly dear to me because it was made for the SADvent Calendar exchange as a gift from my prompt. Beside that, I recommend it because of the STUNNING art in comic style and a lovely reimagining of some iconic S5 Spuffy moments. Your eyes and hearts will be happy to read (and feast on) this!

(2024) Mismatched Memories by kcchameleon [PG-13] one shot

Summary:“The body swap. With Buffy.” “She fill you in on the whole deal?” “She told me it went down. Failed to mention who was driving her skin around.” When and how Spike found out it wasn’t Buffy in the “Who Are You?” episode. Season 6 missing scene.

Review: If you’re eager to discover how and when Spike found out about the infamous body switch that led to Faith!Buffy hitting on him at the Bronze, here’s the one-shot for you! Truly enjoyable.

(2024) Snapshots From My Idiot by Claire [G] art: photo album

Summary: Buffy’s Spike selfies collection. (Otherwise known as any excuse to put Spike in glasses!)

Review: Another art masterpiece from the wickedly talented Claire! Enjoy a series of amazing Spuffy manips by taking a peek into their personal photo album, complete with scribbled notes that make everything even more magical.

(2024) Buffy’s A Christmas Carol by Alyot [PG-13] 🎁 one shot

Summary: ‘So, let me get this straight…’ Buffy began. ‘You’re not Faith, just the spirit of her, and you’re here to teach me some life lessons and stop my Slayer destiny turning me into an unfeeling bitch incapable of love?’

‘Got it in one, B!’

‘And why now?’

‘It’s Christmas Eve, dummy!’

(Or, that time Buffy relived A Christmas Carol.)

Review: A clever reimagining of the classic tale by Dickens, with Buffy being the one who receives the visits of the “ghosts.” I guarantee that you’ll love the characters that the author chose to be Buffy’s guides through her past/present/future Christmasses and the effect their visits will have on her.

(2024) Gifts from the (Undead) Heart by Grief Counseling [PG-13] 🎁 one shot

Summary: Spike pays Buffy a visit on Christmas Eve, bearing gifts. An emotional, romantic scene set between Wrecked and Gone.

Review: If you love S6 with a hopeful twist, this is the fic for you. Follow Buffy’s chaotic (but fun) train of thoughs as she struggles with how she feels about a certain bleach-haired vampire who has turned her world upside down... and as she learns that maybe it’s not all that bad.

(2024) Interesting by honeygirl51885 [PG-13] one shot

Summary: Buffy and Spike come off as a boring couple to complete strangers. But what happens when you pull back the curtain?

Review: Sequel to Boring which was featured in my July Fic Recs. If you didn’t read it back then, I suggest that you do, and here’s my review from July:

I had never read a fic with Spuffy seen from a different POV, it’s a clever angle, and in this case also amusing! I couldn’t stop laughing with (original character) Jessica being progressively more wrong about them with her every guess. Poor soul!

This sequel makes the strangers from Boring reconsider their opinion on Buffy & Spike in the most amusing and satisfying way. And of course there’s some good Spuffy banter!

(2024) Spiralizer by Girlytek [NC-17] 🎁 one shot

Summary: Spike gets a Spikebot made to help protect Dawn. The best laid schemes of vamps and men go oft awry.

Review: I never knew I needed a Williambot in my life until I read this story. A humorous but very clever re-imagining of the final episodes of S5 with a new, peculiar player joining the Scoobies and perhaps changing everyone’s fate for the best...

In moments when Frankie is feeling particularly weak, he finds solace in letting his mind drift. It's become somewhat of a habit lately, a quiet retreat from the turmoil of his everyday life. Typically, he reserves these mental escapes for the late hours of the night, lying on his side of the bed with only the soft glow of his cell phone illuminating the darkness, peering over his shoulder, making sure Chelsea was facing the other way, knowing damn well he was playing with fire with what he was about to do.

He couldn't help that even though it's been years, his thoughts still pathetically drift to you.

He feels a pang of embarrassment admitting it to himself, but he can't deny that he knows your Instagram handle by heart. It was a chance discovery, a random tag on your sister's post, five years ago—a snapshot of you both, smiling as you cradle a newborn baby in your arms.

Hometown Glory finally making an appearance, your sister's caption read, Who knew I had to birth a whole ass baby for this miracle to happen?

But it was the tiny icon at the bottom left of the photo that caught Frankie's attention, his breath catching. He presses on it almost too excitedly, slowing his trigger finger at the last moment, preventing it from accidentally liking the post and blowing his cover.

But still. 

Maybe it's because he's curious.

Maybe it’s because he wonders if he can remember the placement of moles that are scattered along your face, down the span of your neck like a constellation of stars he's mapped out in his memory.

Maybe it’s because he’s been so fucking lonely, and that you were the last good thing to ever happen in his life before his daughter came around.

Once again, No “On This Day” or throwback post share as of now. However, It’s now time that I’d waited for so long since our friend @shadowredfeline give me from last year’s Christmas. Yup, it’s for the fifth installment of the Forza Horizon series itself!

Originally, I would’ve saving it after I’d planned of finishing up FH3; which I know it’ll be a long ways to go. That being said, I couldn’t hold much longer til last night (Aug. 24th, 2024) where I’d finally boosted up the game. Sometimes it’s okay to keep moving forward than waiting longer. Just a peak experience where this taking place in Mexico. I had some fun driving around like from two previous Forza titles I’d been through from before. Still it was nice nonetheless as taking some snapshots I got. I also gotten my first picked car of an 2020 Toyota GR Supra where starting my career.

There’s more to come, but I won’t leave my Forza Horizon 3’s progress behind as well. I’ll remember that. 😉 Hope you guys enjoy it. 👍

Christmas Decorations around the Mall, ft. My Paper Dolls - Part 2 [Nov 29th & Dec 4th, 2024]

Hello, December! 🎄🎅 Sadly, no #OnThisDay throwback post for this date because I've got some Christmas photos that will slightly cheer me up, but keep in mind that I'm still 'slow recovery' from my 'Major Depression' (without taking Anti-depressant medical pills 🚫💊). That being said, remember what I said that I was slightly happy in 'Part 9' of my 'Maxi Tune Experience' [CLICK ME!]? 🤔 You could say this topic right here, but there's more than that. So, I'll reveal it soon. 😉 For now, though, since we are approaching a few weeks before Christmas 🎄🌟 (not to mentioned 'New Year 2025 🎆🗓️'), I must upload these cheerful Christmas decorations around the mall from Nov 29th & Dec 4th, 2024. 📸📲 And what better way than joining with my beloved Paper Dolls 🐻👨‍🍳|🐰👩‍🍳 (that will soon be replaced with a fresher look)! 😊

🎄📸 Nov 29th, 2024: SM Megamall 📲🌟

• Neighboring Shangri-La Plaza mall is the 'SM Megamall' 🏢 located the same soil as the aforementioned Shangri-La. I've been there many times, with countless photoshoots of mine over the past years. So, here are my recent photos. Like Shangri-La, SM Megamall throw us a wonderful cheer of countless Christmas decorations from a cute large Christmas-themed teddy bears 🧸🎄, to the huge sign of 'Mega Holidays', not to mentioned the raffle prize car is the Hyundai Ioniq 6 E-Car 🇰🇷⚡🚘, and of course their main moment is the huge Christmas Tree surrounded by goody home appliances with discounted price tag 🎄🌟💡📺🏷️. I'll say, if I have funds I think I'll might snag at new appliances that will be useful, while at the same enjoying the Christmas moment. What a jolly good dreamin'! 😊💲🧾🎄 There's also a moving Santa Claus dancing on the other side entrance of the mall, which is another jolly show moment. 😀 However, there's one non-Christmas theme that I never seen it before is this wonderful 'Mirror Polished Stainless Steel' titled 'Time (Baks series)', created by a Filipino-American artist named 'JEFRË'. So, who's 'JEFRË'? 🤔 I think, I know the answer by clicking here → [CLICK ME!]. 😉

So I kinda of want to try something different with my #manga covers tag. I dunno why I'm posting to preface the fact, I don't think anyone who follows me follows me for that tag specifically. But this is my particular little corner of the digital void and I can scream whatever impotency i want into it. Normally I just drift through the amazoncojp recommendeds from a clean private/ingonito window and just see where it leads me. My priorities on what I actually end up posting tend to be toward

individual cover art i like, or covers that I think look particularly interesting in sequence

franchises that I distinctly don't recognize from the western licensed market

specific trends across multiple titles in a genre, or within a certain mangaka's bibliography

titles with kanji or grammatical construction that I don't recognize and want to look up/practice translating

But every once in a while I get sucked into a little riptide of publisher recommendations, and the common thread is what magazines things were serialized in, and it got me thinking I'd like to try and lean into it.

In the past I've opted to collect magazine covers rather than single series tankobon ([Harta/Fellows] [Kenchiku Chishiki] [Galette Meets] [Marginal] [Tsuri Comic]), but even though that gives a very broad snapshot of a magazine's outward aesthetic from month to month, it doesn't really communicate the content of what's really being published along side what, and how those juxtapose and highlight their target audience. And in thinking about what some magazines' appearances really have to say, about who reads and who they want reading them, I realize that for as big as the manga boom got in the west these past few decades, a lot of fans don't actually have any direct interaction with the magazine format, beyond just barely recognizing the JUMP brand. (we had that brief experiment with Shounen JUMP, Shoujo BEAT, and RAIJIN in the 2000s but it was kind of an abysmal failure.)

Ive always really loved the anthology magazine format that serial manga in japan follows, and it's kind of their secret weapon for actually producing and moving the sheer staggering amount of print content that they do. And at levels that western print media just can't really compare with, not as a matter of competition, but just because the two industries operate on such vastly different models.

(I nearly forgot but I did go on kind of an adjacent rant to this once before, that no one really saw :P It was a little more focused on the old fanscanlation scene but some of its tangents are the same tangents I'm about to go on here, so I might as well link it here.)

For example, depending on the size, a monthly magazine might run between one to two dozen individual titles. And these days that would cost you about 5.10USD to grab off the rack on your way to school, or work, or on your lunch break. And that could include any number of long running series, new up and coming works, and pilot chapters or stand alone one shots from either new or established authors. By comparison a single issue of a monthly or bi monthly comic book in the US could cost between 3.99-5.99USD for what amounts to about 19 pages of content.

So, if that's issue #1 of a brand new title? or issue 100 of an ongoing series you don't keep up with? Would you be willing to pay that $4.00 to try something new? Would you be willing to pay that in addition to the $4.00 to keep up with a title you're already following? How many series would you really be comfortable following and still trying something new? Or how many new comics would you really consider picking up given the number of comics you already keep up with?

With anthology magazine format that entire game of chess between a marketing department and your wallet just straight up doesn't exist. You pay that $5.00 for a monthly issue no matter how much of it you're keeping up with, and every issue there's that free chance that you'll flip through those pages and find something cool that you decide you'll start following. And so long as they keep readers constantly engaged, even while selling magazines at a loss, it means the overall cashflow of magazine purchases, ad revenue, and eventual book sales never stops. And it all funnels back upwards to the month company that redistributes those funds to the departments it needs to to make up the slack and keep the whole machine running.

Anyway point being that manga magazines have a really neat sort of internal ecosystem they curate where the mix of content any one magazine publishes, even under the general umbrella of a target demographic like shounen or josei, is really interesting. Because really, when you follow a manga, you're following the magazine, and that means you consume everything in it, even if only tangentially. And we miss that experience by not having a magazine format for manga distribution in English. So, I'm going to post some magazine covers, and following each will be the tanokbon covers of everything currently running in them; that way, short of being able to just flip through a copy of the magazine, you still get a kind of glimpse of what that magazine's content looks like at a glance.

anyway like I said, I dunno why I thought that needed to be prefaced. There's a list of magazines I'd like to try and get to but I'd rather queue up a full roster at a time so rather than my usual random bursts of whatever I can dredge out of my drafts on a slow day at work, there will probably be some downtime between each magazine.

“Are you sure you wanna do this here?” Carlos asks, still panting a bit. “I can drive us to my place. Be home in ten minutes. It’ll be a lot more comfortable in the king size.”

“I’m plenty comfortable,” TK answers. Doesn’t bring up the fact that he honked the Camaro’s horn with his ass approximately three times while he was climbing into Carlos’s lap earlier.

He leans forward to initiate a kiss but can tell from the way Carlos’s brow has started to crease that something more is bothering him.

“What?” He sits back as far as he can without hitting the horn again.

“It’s just…” Carlos deflects his gaze down. “These are leather seats.”

“Uh. Okay?”

During a hook up in the Camaro, Carlos goes after what he’s always wanted while TK continues to deny what he really wants.

Progress chapter 94 main event rambling (how I learned to stop caring and love dunkzilla)

This is your warning, WATCH THE SHOW. I’m only going to be talking about the main event but trust me the entire card fucking rules. But I’m here to tell you about one match, one of the best matches I’ve legitimately ever seen. HEAVY SPOILERS

The setup is simple, Aussie open lost the progress tag titles at the 3rd unboxing show to Paul Robinson and a returning will osprey, who would hold onto the belts by mostly weaponizing them. Leaving Aussie open out of options seemingly, then mark Davis does something Kyle wasn’t expecting. Earlier in the year he won the natural progression series and the title shot of his choice to go with it. Kyle even seems to say “you don’t have to do it” but mark Davis books it, as a TLC match.

From early in the match the commentators establish to very important things being possibly the only thing mark Davis loves more than the tag belts is Kyle fletcher, and when will osprey is with Paul Robinson he brings out an aggressive side last seen in his “I’m going to kill jimmy havoc” feud. Early on it’s Aussie open just going to work on the swords until the swords can jump Davis and beat the dog shit out of Kyle Fletcher. Then it happens, Robinson goes from the electric chair position to standing on osprey to try and grab the belts only for chair to smash into his face out of nowhere. It was mark Davis, he threw a chair from the outside roughly 8-10 feet up into Robinsons face.

Later on Aussie open set up two tables by the stage and were going suplex the swords off the stage through the tables but they counter and take out Kyle. Robinson and osprey try to double superplex Davis from the stage only for him to turn around and almost take them both down but robo gets out Only for fletcher to come from the back ladder in hand and lawndart it into osprey. But Aussie open get mostly put through the tables by the stage (they were the good tables, Davis didn’t go through) the swords aim to win but upon seeing a helpless Kyle Fletcher they actually get down to torture him.

If you’re one of the people that go “why do you get down your giving your opponent another chance!” I’m usually right there with you but we understand that will becomes more aggressive when Robinson by his side and it’s not just something we’ve heard we’ve actively seen it after jimmy havocs return In 2018. The impromptu loser leaves town match with jimmy, will osprey vs swerve that same year, even his turn on okada. So it’s at least understandable, still very much so if it bothers you

Robinson wants to curb stomp fletcher into the chair, Davis rushes to cover his partner with his body like it’s all he can do, the swords whip him with a belt and osprey chokes him. As he’s dragged off he tries to keep ahold of Kyle but Robinson goes for it only to be powerbombed by Fletcher into the chair! Terror crosses wills face, outnumbered, outgunned, out bearded, let the dog shit beating begin.

At one point Paul Robinson tries to go for the belts but Davis drags him into a piledriver position at the top of the ladder, the horror of my face as I realize there’s a ladder bridge beneath them. I then began to beg and plead with mark davis through my television as though this five year old snapshot of something too insane for a human to commit could hear my protests. In a moment it happened, the piledriver through the ladder came to pass, it wasn’t like the 2k games were the ladder bends, it snapped and almost fucking crumbled, and it was awesome! This was the moment Aussie open won, but the match wasn’t finished as they had to deal with osprey. The Aussies get down and let will make it as far up the twin ladders as he can. But when he try’s to grab the belt it’s Kyle who’s first to grab his wrist, then dunkzilla. One last fidget spinner (now named the coriolis) and once again tag team champions Aussie fucking open.
