Mindscape [Part 1]

Aka more descriptive stuff

Vio's eyes are closed as he focuses ignoring the sounds around him as he enters the realm of his spirit and mind. Opening his eyes they've gone back to their initial colour from first drawing the sword so long ago. Along with his eyes his clothing has shifted to that old tunic as well.

Looking at the forest around him he sighs a bit, then starts to walk the most visible path he can find.

Compared to the last time he did this there's many more trees around, but that could just be due to him not being clear minded lately. Either way Vio knows that something is wrong, and this was the way Farore recommended when he can't figure out what.

Thinking a bit he looks up seeming confused by how warm it was. More accustomed to his realm being slightly icy courtesy of Blue. "That's strange...It's warm this time"

"...Violet~..."

A very sudden voice causes Vio to turn in alarm, not having expected to have another there with him.

Looking back at him is a very bored and rather annoyed looking Vaati with his arms crossed.

Seeing him of all people irks Vio quite badly. Snapping a bit he remarks with disgust. "Why of all people are YOU here!!""

"Don't ask me Violet. I'd much rather not be here" Waving a hand the demon mage seems more bothered than anything.

"That didn't answer my question." Huffing Vio places a hand on his hip, surprisingly not afraid of Vaati's presence this time.

Bothered by that he retorts, "Yes it did!!"

Getting more aggitated by the moment he growls back. "NO, it did not!!!"

Not liking Vio's tone with him Vaati lets out a low snarl, curving his mouth into a frown. "𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙑𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙩, 𝙄 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙤𝙮. 𝙊𝙧 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚"

Vaati having gone from semi-civil to snarling at him has Vio pause and think momentarily. Before snapping at the mage in anger again.

"YOU! YOU SWITCHED THE BOOK I WAS USING FOR THAT!!"

Scoffing at this line of thought Vaati seems more annoyed than anything. "Tch, I did no such thing. You're just making accusations now. To tell the truth; You never had the real one from the start. I know because I'm the one in possession of the true book, not you."

Mood suddenly flipping Vaati actually smiles at Vio waving a hand nonchalantly. "Anyhow, care to join me for some tea. We can think of ways to remove me from here. As your mind sucks to be inside. It's all trees and thoughts of your Beast (Blue) "

"DON'T CALL HIM THAT! IF ANYONE IS A BEAST IT'S YOU!!" At the vague insult to Blue, Vio finally loses his patience with Vaati. And lets loose his feelings with no fear towards the mage. "SCREW YOU AND SCREW YOUR TEA I DON'T WANT IT!! YOU ARE A PATHETIC, SAD, MASOCHISTIC, ASSHOLE!! WHY ARE YOU EVEN STAYING IF YOU HATE IT SO MUCH!!?"

“Do you find that your arms or legs get in the way? It’s no different than any other appendage to me. The only inconvenience is having to alter my pants myself.” There’s usually an opening at the top of them just under the waistband for his tail, with the waistband having a button so he can easily slip his pants on and off without having to thread his tail through the opening.

Surely Rei had misheard him. That...couldn’t be true.

Why would anyone ever want him? In any context.

Rei didn’t want to just assume what Sully meant by that, but it was hard for his mind not to jump to conclusions and assume that.

“You’re supposed to be asleep, don’t start spouting nonsense if you want me to stick around.”

He had only agreed to sleep in Sully’s tent with him to protect him. Honestly, it seemed like Sully couldn’t even sneeze without hurting himself. Rei didn’t want to risk his childhood friend dying in his sleep from getting strangled by his own blanket or something equally stupid.

Or worse.

The oni certainly never expected a confession to occur during their little sleepover.

“Are you talking in your sleep? Sick? Drunk?” No, he couldn’t be drunk. Rei would have noticed Sully drinking. He didn’t seem sick, either. Rei would be able to sense that.

Still, he was grasping for any excuse at this point. Any excuse that would douse the heat burning at his cheeks.

How had it even come to this?

The past few months had seemed like a blur. They hadn’t gotten any closer to figuring out the whole contract ordeal, and they were always on the move. Rei didn’t mind that much. Honestly, he probably preferred it. Less likely to draw attention that way, and the pair of them were certainly a duo that would do so if they lingered in any one place too long.

Through... necessary means that aided in their survival, they had accumulated enough money to stay in a motel. A bed was a bed, and a shower was a shower - and they both desperately needed one as bathing was a luxury for them.

But why the hell did Oslyeus think he could just barge right in when Rei was in the middle of undressing?

“Do you mind!? I’m trying to--”

It never ceased to surprise him the strength Os actually wielded. Rei knew better than to judge someone based on how they looked, or even their size, but given what he himself was.. it was still offputting to be overpowered and shoved up against the bathroom wall by his travel companion and contract holder.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing!? Are you trying to pick a fight?” As pissed off as Rei was by the sudden ordeal, it was an empty threat. He couldn’t lay a hand on Os unless he snapped and lost control of himself, and he really didn’t want for that to happen.

He knew that. Os knew that. But that didn’t stop Rei from having a mouth on him from time to time.

Rei was about to say more, but he was stunned even further as Os began to.. Os was..

Why was he aggressively pulling Rei’s clothes off!?

“H-Hey! I don’t need your help! I can undress myself..”

This was getting... weird. Rei could feel the heat radiating from his cheeks as piece by piece, his clothing was stripped away.

“K..Knock it off.. What, do you think I’m wired or something?” Was this some sort of bout of paranoia? It didn’t make sense, Rei was always at Os’ side. He couldn’t leave even if he wanted to.

Rei tried to use his forearm to brush Os away, pulling away from the wall and making his way for the shower. It seemed as if Os had backed off, allowing Rei to turn the water on and get in. At this point, he doesn’t even care Os is still lingering in the bathroom. He’s just relieved he isn’t pestering him anymore.

However, his relief is short lived, as Os joins him in the shower.

Turning to face him and give him a piece of his mind, Rei only finds himself overpowered by Os once more - this time, pinned under the other on the shower floor.

“Seriously, what’s gotten into you..?” Glaring up at Os, expression a mix of annoyance and concern. This was just getting ridiculous, and Rei couldn’t say he was enjoying being pushed around - especially with no explanation on Os’ end.

“If I did something to make you mad, just tell me. You know damn well a fight breaking out between us is too dangerous.”

Placing his hands against Os’ shoulders, Rei attempted to move the other off of him. Brows furrowed in further confusion when Os seems to lean in closer.

“Os...?”

Gritting his teeth together, Rei suppressed a noise that bubbled in his chest at the sudden feeling of Os’ mouth against his neck. The sound of the shower’s water pattering against the tile and their bodies sounded like distant static, his heart pounding in his ears drowning it out.

Was this really happening? Why was this happening..?

“Hh..Nng..” It’s a lost battle of trying to hide the noises Os was eliciting from him as the other continued with the attention to his neck - kissing, licking, biting. 

Rei could no longer tell if his heart was beating too fast, or if it had stopped. He couldn’t tell if his head was getting foggy from the shower’s steam, or from... something else.

He hadn’t even realized his hand had moved, but by the time he did, his fingers were already buried into Os’ locks and lightly pushing his head in more.

“Os....”

A low noise suspiciously reminiscent of a growl rumbled in his throat, followed by a huff as he shoved the book away across the table. He leaned back against his chair, arms crossing and head turning to the side as he closed his eyes - much like a sulking child.

Sure can. He loves spicy foods. The spicier the better.

Oh, he definitely doesn’t eat healthy - especially by the standards he should be eating by. But that’d involve a lot of killing and cannibalism, and he wants to avoid that as much as he can. He doesn’t eat as much or often as he should, especially because it takes A LOT of calories and protein to sustain him. He has a ridiculously high metabolism which lends to him basically having a void stomach. So because of all this, he tends to skip meals and eats to stave off dangerous starvation levels.

Absolutely. He’s basically a vagabond. Has to get by some how.

He can certainly be a brat, but he’s not that kind of brat.

Not exactly, but I’m just gonna say;; bloodplay. Makes intimacy a more dangerous gamble if that’s thrown into the mix, though.

Touching his tail, even in a subtle way. Otherwise, it kind of depends how far into a ship he’s in, and who his shipmate is. If it’s a stranger that’s just trying to seduce him willynilly, he has good discipline and will just get annoyed and walk away.

Ah, I guess I kind of answered that above, huh? Again, it depends on who it is and how well he knows them/the kind of interaction they have going. He’s very likely to just get annoyed and uncomfortable, but if there’s anything more there he will get very flustered and possibly still come off as an asshole, but it’s the tsundere reaction in that case.

Tsundereism aside, you want him to melt instantly? His tail. His horn (longer one) is also sensitive, but he’s more... anxious about that being touched because of bad experiences in the past involving his horns and ‘scales’. 

Then there’s the obvious spots, like his neck or hips (more specifically the V that goes down to his groin)

Very poorly. He has no experience. If he tried, it’d probably come off as bullying more than flirting.

He doesn’t. As I told you a bit on discord, if he ever reaches that point in a ship - he will actively avoid going all the way or getting off with his partner because he’s afraid of hurting his partner. Even in the bedroom he has to worry about his oni blood and aggression.
