His eyes are a bit warmer than usual and he kneels down in front of Yumeno, "let's see here... I think I saw somewhere that you were on the nice list this year!" He wanted there to be some kind of magic so he takes the sack off his shoulder and lightly pokes their nose.

The first thing he takes out is a selection of brown sugar sweets he had taken the time to make, along with some help from Ozaki. But the next thing he takes out is something he didn't need help with. It's a brown marbled teddy bear that favors the child, taking on their eyes. His expression softens as he reaches out to ruffle their hair.

This was what Christmas was like ? Being given a whole bunch of GIFTS ? That was great !

The second gift was the CUTEST little teddy bear they had ever seen ! They've never had many toys in their lifeㅤ—ㅤthat made the teddy bear all the more SPECIAL to them !

The redhead seems to soften after a moment. It wasn't the kid's fault. Dazai did put on a pretty good show when it suited him. And he's sure he has them wrapped around his little finger. Because of course he does. Shithead.

In all honesty, Mori was the last person he wanted to report to right now. Of course, it would have to be done sooner rather than later, and Dazai would do it. So with a dramatic sigh, he strolls up to Yumeno before picking them up and putting them on his shoulders.

"Come on, we're going to get ice cream. I need it, you might want it, it's a win-win." And like hell he was going to ask Chuuya to come with him. He didn't want to hear his bitching right now either, and he's pretty sure it'd be a no either way. He'd broken off from Chuuya earlier after an argument on the way back anyway.
