He wanted there to be some kind of magic so he takes the sack off his shoulder and lightly pokes their nose.

The first thing he takes out is a selection of brown sugar sweets he had taken the time to make, along with some help from Ozaki. But the next thing he takes out is something he didn't need help with. It's a brown marbled teddy bear that favors the child, taking on their eyes. His expression softens as he reaches out to ruffle their hair.

Hearing the younger make a remark about how Chuuya was just sparked more amusement. If anything, Chuuya was a runt with a loud bark. Just like a tiny dog. Dazai hates dogs...

The redhead seems to soften after a moment. It wasn't the kid's fault. Dazai did put on a pretty good show when it suited him. And he's sure he has them wrapped around his little finger. Because of course he does. Shithead.
