being trapped in inazuma for a while because he thought sneaking there in a coffin was a great idea? sucked. getting back to liyue through the same method? still sucked, but a lot less so. apparently, both the vision hunt decree and the sakuko decree were both abolished after his return to liyue, so...

yeah. the electro archon was not in the business of making his life easy when he needed his life to be easy. thankfully, he wasn’t in inazuma anymore, and haddatha-kathoth’s errands had kept him in liyue’s general area.

every commission from the adventurer’s guild meant he could at least cast a wide net and see what the picky “old god” wanted this time, but the list seemed to be pretty boring today. lost pets, mostly. daedalus wasn’t sure how the hell he’d handle talking to a cat and seeing what their last wishes were, and hopefully he wouldn’t have to start doing that.

the vague memories of flame and darkness, of a woman glowering at him with golden eyes, of red cubes swallowing him whole ---- these events, like a nightmare, would send donatello sitting up in a cold sweat, before he would realize something.

the place he had woken up in appeared to be a ruin, plants and trees growing around him. indeed, he had apparently been sleeping upon flower petals, a pile of them graciously placed as if to make him a bed. ( or, perhaps, a final resting place. )

while he didn't seem injured, his dimensional gauntlet was not only damaged, but broken. the terrapin would be stuck in this dimension for a long while, unless he could get the required supplies. not a great start to a new (?) world, but it wasn't the first time he'd had to fix his gauntlet in another world, either.

it didn't take long for him to find a disguise amidst the ruin's treasures. in fact, everything seemed to have been designed for him, including gloves that fit his three fingers. curiouser and curiouser. a wide-brimmed hat that would fit in his sensei's day and age concealed what little the rest of his clothing didn't cover. there was also some sort of jewel, an ice-cold trinket that he instinctively brought with him.

now thoroughly disguised, nearly indistinguishable from a human, he found his way out of the ruins. the desert that greeted him was not too surprising, although the disguise also helped to protect him from the worst it had to offer in terms of natural consequences.

that being said, he wasn't sure what to make of the automatons that prowled the desert, or of the hilichurls that gathered in tribes that littered the sands. yet, for as many answers as he received, more questions would begin to surface.

due to the lack of an akasha terminal on donnie's person, he retains the ability to dream in sumeru. however, he doesn't remember what had happened before meeting with the unknown god, or how he had ended up placed within one of the scarlet king's ruins in the first place.

the most he has is the disguise that was placed in the ruins for him, as well as a (sumeru) cryo vision that he can use quite proficiently despite his lack of memories. he's also obviously a spear-user.

honestly i do have some thoughts about him befriending nahida and seeing himself as a big brother figure to her, especially seeing her insecurities about being an archon. it reminds him a lot about himself, especially surrounding the topic of what would happen after he gets his revenge on the shredder.

i do think donnie would be a sub-dps when getting into his role, but can function decently as dps himself with the right party.

poking at the firewood with a stick, he sighed, before glancing back over at the traveler. he’d heard of her, for sure, but daedalus wasn’t exactly used to company besides the dormant goddess in his head. on the other hand, this was also the same person who threw inazuma’s laws upside down, to where even the sakuko decree was repealed, so...he did have something to be thankful for.

finally, he said, “what about you? i can’t imagine you’d go through all the trouble to hop on over to inazuma just because you knew a revolution was coming. that’s practically suicidal.” probably made haddy sad not to see such a powerful person enter the ranks of the dead, but daedalus figured that lumine was much better off with these shenanigans than dealing with the goddess.

a storyteller who introduces herself by the stage name "hazel maze". she is most famous for gathering tales of horror, suspense, and danger.

after an encounter with a ghost led to her activating her deceased grandmother's electro vision, paired with her mother and other mondstadtians' disbelief in her, despite her finding out about the terrible affront to her grandmother's wishes.

although the mondstadtian church was apologetic towards her after the truth was revealed, her mother was still angry at her and moreso when the grandmother's haunting had ceased. this escalated to the point where her parents divorced, her father taking her to liyue. after they were harassed by her mother, they stowed away to inazuma, the one place that maryanne couldn't reach.

currently, hazel is a traveling storyteller who also gathers others' stories. after the sakuko decree was abolished, she's taken great delight in traveling to other nations in order to update her collection.

TEYVAT CHOSE TO BLESS RÓISÍN WITH A PYRO VISION at the tender age of five years old, this half-inazuman child who lived in the city of freedom with her mother. at the same time, her mother was wooing an inazuman man who had traveled out of the island nation in order to seek his fortune. the question of her birth father would later sow the seeds of ambition in her, an argument with her mother leading to her vision and the first use of it.

a patch of grass around the child was set ablaze, and eleanor quickly picked her up and stomped the flames with her shoes. grasped tightly in one of róisín’s tiny hands was a vision, marked upon with the wings of mondstadt.

she was soon enrolled to train as a knight of favonius, but would find herself growing irritated with how pitiful most of them were. it was not uncommon for róisín to pick fights with older knights, before proving her own m e t t l e .

varka, finding her passion admirable but UNTAMED, decided to put her under eula in the reconnaissance company as róisín grew older. it was clear that, unlike the spark knight, róisín’s displays were not of innocent devastation but of aggressive destruction. to put that to use, it would be best to focus that dangerous nature into something that required the valiance of a knight and the weaponry of a warrior.

now, as one of the members of the reconnaissance company, she has been given the title of THE FLAMETHORN KNIGHT. unlike eula, her strength in strategy was something to be discovered and nurtured rather than innate; like eula, though, most in mondstadt tend to look upon her with distrust.

róisín wields a catalyst and a pyro vision. her constellation is rosae suffacatio, the choking roses.
