it's like a switch that goes off, the way he's suddenly crowding her space to push her flat against the bed. it wasn't uncommon for either of them to go each other's apartments, spending time together watching movies, sometimes cooking meals so they both would eat ( more often than not he forgot to eat when he was swamped with school work ). it was supposed to be a usual night, verbal teasing on both ends, being touchy, what they would consider the norm. and yet, here they are. he'd long told her to be quiet when she had started teasing him about something, faux annoyance on features as he huffed. but her comment of making her be quiet makes him snap, hands suddenly on her shoulders and pushing her down.

there's an unreadable expression on his face as he hovers over her, as if pondering his options, what he would do. leaning down, a leg moves to position it between her own, face getting mere inches away from hers. head tilts a little to the side, eyes shifting between emery's and down to lips before flicking back up. the beginnings of a smirk gracing the corners of lips. perhaps he should leave it, leave her to lay there on the bed and wonder what might've been, however he'd be wrong to say he hasn't thought of a moment like this. ❛ are you sure about that ? i could shut you up in a lot of ways. ❜ hot breath fans against skin, head dipping as lips attack her jaw, placing kisses until he's reached the soft spot between her jaw and right below her ear.

❛ how should i shut you up, hm ? ❜ a hand that had been by her head moves, now along her side, sliding down and dipping beneath the fabric of her shirt. his hand explores, caressing her side, reaching up close to her chest but never going further than that. she wanted to challenge him, he would take the bait but it didn't mean he would take ⸻ he needed to know she wanted it. lips graze along her jaw, nipping at soft skin before moving to ghost lips against hers. teasing her. ❛ tell me, em. ❜
