doing tasks and getting things done feels really helpful right now but i dont know how long thats going to last. if i owe you replies, there might be some in the queue. i might do replies at some point. i might not. i dont know what the next few days will look like and im going to continue to just do what sparks joy while we deal with everything but my papa has gone home to the lord and i know my nanny was there to welcome him with open arms and i know theyre so happy to be reunited but i never thought i'd lose one of them, let alone both now even if logically i knew it in the back of my mind

ive been in a very weird mood for a couple weeks now, maybe even a couple months, and i finally feel like i can sit and do some replies, so hopefully i'll have a more active queue to be posting soon but in the mean time, you're always welcome to yell with me about our muses in dms or on dis.cord

my papa's funeral is on august 1st and then i leave for my joshua bassett concerts on the 6th so my queue is going to be running until at least the 10th, by which time i'll be home, and my whole family will have gone back to their own homes, and we'll be settling into our new normal. im still not making any promises or stressing myself out with drafts right now and just doing them as i feel im able to while dealing with everything that comes with this, but im so appreciative for everyones condolences and messages and continued interactions <3 unfortunately this feels a lot worse than when we lost my nanny last year bc now both my grandparents are gone and its just me and my mom here in florida and we have to start deciding what we keep and what we let go of and sell the house and deal with the estate and just so many things we didnt have to do before bc my papa was still around and im just not coping at all with them both being gone so im just... doing what i can day by day and appreciate everyone sticking around idk im being sappy bc im sad but ily all

so, in addition to putting my queue back down to once per day, i have actually paused it. i'm going to get a few things done in the next few days and get those queued, but i gotta take a day or so to get back on top of things! i've been super burnt out and trying to Not Be but i need to recognize that im not at full capacity and gotta be kind to myself, soooo. yeah.

i thought that i had made a post about this but i cant find any so: this sunday marks one year since my nanny passed (and writing that still doesnt feel like something rooted in reality) and my aunt flew in for the weekend today so i probably wont be around that much this weekend and if i do take my computer over to my grandparents house i can never concentrate over there so i wont be writing much. queue is going here & on my multi and i am lowkey hiding over on @wondheirland while i get through this weekend.
