Mukuro always thought of herself not one to avoid confrontation, but here she was, dreading this moment。 But even she knew that the line 'I'll just be right back, don't worry~' had its limits and it seems like that limit was now。

「I've been looking into something,」 Mukuro spoke softly, her gaze breaking away from Beelzebub's for a moment, 「I can't get the image of just how short my life candle is, back in that cave so I've。。。 been trying to find things to help extend my life。」

She of course was also looking into just becoming a demon herself, so that way she really could be with Beel for as long as possible, but she'd keep that tidbit to herself until she felt confident knowing that what she was looking into was legit or not。

「Oh really?」 Mukuro couldn't say she was surprised to hear that, although a part of her figured that maybe they would have had somewhat different personalities compared from when they were angels to now as demons。

「Yeah I've tried my best to not get on his bad side, and I think he lets me off a little easier since I'm a human,」 which she's thankful for of course。

Her gaze softens considerably when he brings up no he wished that this whole thing wouldn't take so long and that when she'd leave he wouldn't be able to visit, 「I wish I could stay too。。。 I'd much rather stay if I'm honest。」 Mukuro says as she reaches over to gently take a hold of his hand, 「I think I could make a good case to stay here, I'll try and talk to Lord Diavolo about it some time。」

Mukuro's existence and her participation in the exchange program meant that the brothers had changed, bit by bit, but there were still troublesome streaks that cut the peace and called for the punishments that Beelzebub dreaded.

"I know, Lord Diavolo's said that too. I just. . ." He trailed off to think, gaze lowering to the picnic blanket underneath them. "I wish it wouldn't take so long. It means that when your year is up, you'll have to go back, and I can't visit you whenever I want."

Magenta eyes slid up, wide and pitiful like a puppy's. "I wish he'd just let you stay."

Mukuro hadn't realized she was being one, she thought she was being a bit cheeky and licking some frosting that had gotten on her hand。 When he made that comment, Mukuro couldn't stop the coy smile from spreading on her lips。

「Yeah~?」 Mukuro asks, the coy smile still prominent on her lips, 「I could tease you a little more, if you'd like~」 Mukuro was fully prepared to " accidentally " drop some of the white icing on her chest。

Mukuro had been absentmindedly began to stroke his hair when he rested his head in her lap。 When he began to speak, Mukuro had to not only lean a little extra forward but also press her free hand against her chest in order to get a better view of him over her rather sizeable chest。

「So it is。。。」 When he asked if her if she wanted to do anything, she hummed softly, 「well, now I'm curious about hearing what this plan of yours is first before I give out a suggestion。」
